Nicklaus’s POV:
Sarah slowly took off her robe from her body, and my eyes trailed every part of her body.
She reached out to me and placed her hands on my neck as she gently caressed me. She seductively moved her body and rubbed it against mine. It was as if I was boiling inside me.
I stood there watching her without saying a word. She reached for my neck to kiss me, and I closed my eyes and moaned. Just then, everything suddenly turned to Elena. Her face, her body, and her voice.
She moved my hands and placed them on her waist. She moved her body seductively, and the whole time.
When I closed my eyes, all I could see was Elena. I pictured myself holding in her tiny waist and kissing her lips. I remembered the wonderful moments we both shared and how I would make love to her. I was filled with Elena, and the thought of her made me moan.
Just then, Sarah reached for my huge bulge, and I gasped, “Elena!” I spoke out loud with my eyes closed.
Sarah's hands paused on my body, and I opened my eyes. I quickly pulled away when I saw that it was Sarah. Her eyes widened in disbelief.
“So you are still thinking about that woman? You still have her in your head,” she spoke angrily.
"Well, Sarah, what do you expect? I love Elena.” I spoke, my voice easing as we both stared at each other.
“I'm out of here, excuse me,” I spoke and hurriedly walked out of the room into the hallway.
I opened my room door and closed it behind me. “Fuck,” I cussed under my breath.
I couldn't stop thinking about Elena and how we made love. I can't imagine myself with another woman anymore. I had always been a playboy, but since I met Elena, things have been different.
I walked to the other side of my room and poured a bottle of whiskey. My eyes were red, and I was feeling very sad. I thought Elena would come here to stay since she had been on house arrest, but she hadn't.
I wonder where she was. Now I realise how meant I was, and I guess she would never take me back
Immediately, I grabbed my keys and got into my car. I roamed around trying to clear my head, but nothing seemed to be working at that moment.
I let out a frustrated groan and drove back to the house. It was already midnight when I arrived at the mansion. I got upstairs and had a cool shower to relax my brain.
I walked out of the bathroom and cleaned up. I changed into a pyjama and lay on the bed. I reached for my phone and quickly called Mr. John, my lawyer; he picked up after the first ring.
“I need the address of me, Alex, right now,” I spoke.
“Right away, sir,” he spoke, and I hung up.
My phone buzzed with a notification, and I got his house address. I couldn't wait until it was morning. I tried to get some sleep, but I couldn't, so I stared at my ceiling all night long.
When it was dawn, I had a hot shower and changed into a casual outfit. I brushed my hair and made sure I looked good.
“I will be driving myself today,” I said to my driver, and I drove onto the highway. After what seemed like forever, I arrived at Alex's house.
I walked into the building to the elevator. I got into his penthouse on the last floor and rang the doorbell, but there wasn't a response.
I rang the doorbell again, and the door was opened after a few seconds. It was Alex; his facial expression hardened, and he stood in the doorway.
“How may I help you?” he asked, his eyes never leaving mine.
“I'm here to see Elena,” I responded, giving him a daring look.
He chuckled and raised his eyebrow. “What makes you think Elena is here?” He asked me with a little smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
“That's because she has nowhere else to go,” I responded. My voice was deep, and I peeped inside the house and could get a glimpse of Elena.
Alex’s face hardened, and he walked outside, closing the door gently behind him. He crossed his hands on his chest and smiled.
“You are fully aware she has nowhere to go, and you sent her away at night in the street of Los Angeles. How inhumane,” he spoke.
I felt a surge of anger growing inside of me, and my fist tightened. I was tempted to punch him in the face, but I managed to control myself.
“You can't do anything to me, Nicholas, even with your wealth and power. Leave here right now before I call the police. You know what that means, right?” He spoke calmly with a smile on his face.
“Fuck,” I cussed under my breath. “This is not the end of it. You just started a war that you won't be able to win,” I growled and walked out on him.
Elena’s POV:I woke up from my slumber when I heard noises coming from the sitting room. I opened my eyes and fixed it on the door. I tried to trace where the noise was coming from.I hurriedly rolled out of bed and walked to the sitting room when I saw Alex walking into the house. He gently closed the front door.“Hey, good morning, Alex,” I spoke while yawning. I felt refreshed and strong. “Good morning, Elena.” He greeted me with a soft smile as he walked up to me. “Was anyone at the door?” I asked curiously, remembering the noise I heard coming from the front door.“What?” he asked, narrowing his eyes and giving me a questioning look.“I heard noises coming from outside. Was anybody here?” I asked again, trying to be sure of my assumptions. Alex shook his head and smiled nervously. “It was just my dry cleaner,” he responded. I noticed how uneasy he was, but I managed to brush it off. "Oh, okay,” I spoke.“I hope you had a wonderful night's rest,” he asked, walking close to me.
Nicklaus’s POV:I arrived at the house with my blood boiling through my veins. I angrily changed into a black suit without looking at my reflection in the mirror and I grabbed my suitcase. I walked back to my car and zoomed off to work. After a short drive, I got to my office with an angry face. All of my workers greeted me, but I didn't respond. I have been boiling since I left Alex’s penthouse. I can't believe that Elena would live with a man after coming out of her cell, and the worst of it is that she is under house arrest, which means they will be with each other all the time. That is more than enough reason to fall in love with him.My bodyguards followed me from behind and waited at the door as I got into my office, slamming the door behind me. I removed my jacket, and I sat on my chair, and my personal assistant walked inside with me. “Sir, you have a meeting with the board members by noon, and also your father will be in attendance,” he spoke. His voice trembled; I could te
Third person's POV:Alex managed to give everything up by changing the topic and talking about something else. He didn't want to bother Elena by telling her about Nicklaus's appearance in his penthouse. He knew he had to do everything to make Elena regain her freedom so that he could make his decisions known to her and be brave enough to show her how much he loved her. He didn't want her to start gaining feelings back, got Nicklaus and thought about it. He is very scared to lose her this time around. He lost her to Caleb and went away. Now that he is back and has her to himself, he wouldn't risk it anymore. Elena also enjoyed Alex's company but tried to keep a little distance and stop herself from falling for him because she knew that it would cause her pain if she let her feelings grow for Alex. With everything that had happened, she had already given up on love and had promised to take care of her little one. Alex walked into Nicklaus’s father's company. He had fixed a meeting w
Elena’s POV:It's been 4 weeks since I had been confined in the house under house arrest. I have been serving my sentence under the watchful eyes of the authorities, according to Nicklaus's father. But that is not the only change that I have been experiencing. That means I am 8 weeks pregnant. With each passing day, I have become aware of the little life that has been growing inside of me. I have added weight, feeling dizzy more often, and constant tiredness. My body is going through a lot of changes, and I can feel it. The pregnancy symptoms are beginning to become noticeable and very hard to ignore, but I try to act normal. I haven't said a word to anybody, not even Zoey or Alex, but Alex has been noticing some changes in me. I tried to act normal so that I could hide it from him. It's getting hard because we see each other every day. I have been pretending to be my normal self. I couldn't bring myself to tell him because I have started growing feelings for Alex, and it is very h
Elena’s POV:I lay in bed all night long feeling excited that there would be a way for me to regain my freedom, but I wasn't happy that my father had taken everything away from me, and I knew fully well that he would refuse to help bail me out.If he helped me out, he would also use me to do his business deals and transactions for the rest of my life, and I am happy I have regained my freedom from him. I can't go back to being used. Now I just need to figure out a way out to bail myself out and get out of this mess.I lay awake in my bed and stirred. I could barely get enough sleep. I have been struggling to fall asleep, but it was very difficult. I couldn't get my mind to stop thinking. I didn't want Alex to help me out with the bail. I do not want to be indebted to anybody. I want my full freedom. To start my life from scratch. That is exactly what I want. I want to be able to stand up for myself and live my dream. Nobody would be able to stop me this time around. I will make sure
It was morning already, but the sun wasn't out yet. Alex got rolled out of bed and did some push-ups and exercises before walking into the bathroom. He got into the shower and had a warm, relaxing bath. It had been a long night, especially with what happened between him and Elena. The whole situation made him feel uncomfortable. He closed his eyes and saw her face. He remembered the kiss and how soft her lips were. She looked so beautiful and innocent. He felt a spark within him and he smiled. He realised that his love for her only increased, and he was ready to take his time with her. He knew that it would be difficult for her, but he was ready to take all the time in the world to wait for her.He got out of the bathroom and dressed in a black suit. His meeting with Mr. Coleman was by 10 o'clock am, and he had to be punctual. He brushed his hair as he watched his reflection in the mirror, smiling and thinking about his meeting with the Coleman’s. He walked to the living room when
Alex’s POV:I drove off to the Coleman Enterprise for the meeting, and I couldn't help but think about Elena on my way. She had previously lost consciousness on the day of her court hearing, and now she is throwing up.I couldn't help but worry about her, and you wanted to know if she was doing alright. She didn't look so good. Could it be the stress of everything that is beginning to affect her? I've been noticing some changes in her.I just hope that she isn't letting everything that is happening get to her. I promise to bring her out of this mess and give her the peace that she deserves. I arrived at the Coleman Enterprise after what felt like forever, and I walked into the building. The guards took me to the upper room in the elevator, where Mr. Coleman’s office is located. I knocked on the door, and it gently opened. I walked into the office with Mr. Coleman. And Mr. John sat as they discussed. “Good day, Mr. Coleman, Mr. John.” I greeted and extended my hands for a firm hands
Sarah’s POV:I was walking downstairs from the mansion, my heels clicking on the floor, when I heard Nicklaus's car pulling into the compound. I glanced out the window and saw him step out of the vehicle, looking very handsome in his black tailored suit. He had to rush to work early in the morning to take care of some business.Even though he had been distant, I felt excited that he had returned home just in time for us to discuss with the event planners and the stylists. Nicklaus’s father, Mr. Coleman, wants us to hasten the wedding preparations so that he can retire and have a good time. And I, Sarah, will be the worst to the richest man in the world. I wondered to myself, and I walked to greet Nicklaus. The wedding is in two days, and I have never been this excited all my life. It felt like a dream come true, and everything is already aligning in my favour.I approached him, “Welcome back, honey; you came just in time.” I spoke and walked to him. I gently kissed him on the lips,
