Eden pov

Kanox led me while I zoned out during our run towards the last remains of my past. I wanted to close that chapter and lock it for good just as much as the monster within me craved blood.

“I eat them, right? Can I eat them? I’ve been craving flesh for centuries, but held back and stuck to blood, but I want flesh. Eden, can I eat them?” He repeated the questions over and over again.

Up to this point, I had thought he was a vampire. Well, that we were? But now, I started doubting my own beliefs because of the neverending questions.

“Kanox, who are you? Who are we?” I finally asked, unable to settle for more assumptions my mind could create.

“A hybrid,” he replied smugly.

I rolled my eyes at the statement. That much I already knew, but it was too little of the information I was actually seeking. He couldn’t seriously think I would let this go without getting answers.

“A little more details about your statement wouldn’t hurt anyone, don’t you think so?”

Kanox became so sile

Titus povLeaving Lucius behind felt like a curse and blessing at the same time. I needed to stay away for a little, but I also desperately wanted to stay near him. I was hurt, but even despite that, I hated seeing pain flash in his eyes. I hated watching him break and drop to his knees, begging for forgiveness. And even more, I hated how he forgot who he was. A King. No matter how much the remark might have hurt me, Lucius was our King and I wouldn’t forgive myself if he forgot that because of me. But thankfully, he wasn’t alone. The old man was near, and I knew he would distract Lucius, or if worse came to happen, talk him out of doing something absolutely stupid. “I think we need to find Eden,” Leo muttered as I wandered the forest. “Sure thing, smartass, as soon as our all-mighty mate decides that telling the truth is better than keeping secrets. Don’t tell me you found a way to escape my body while we had that conversation with Lucius,” I snapped at him. Leo didn’t deserve

Titus povXabat was bloody right and although I appreciated the damn heads-up, I also hated him just for the sole fact that he was right. Shifting hurt like a bitch. I had shifted alongside Leo millions of times already and at this point, turning into a wolf never hurt. But now that both of us were different, more like our mate than ourselves, each time we shifted felt like the first time. Lucius claimed it would get easier the more we do, but for fuck’s sake, I wanted the process to feel a little less than my balls were getting torn off than it did now. Every damn bone that broke - I felt it. I felt how our damn skull turned into one that reminded me of Xabat's ugly muzzle too. “Pain or not, you have no right to offend mate, Titus. Shame on you! Out of them both, Xabat is the nicest one!” Leo snapped at me, but I dismissed his words. This wasn’t a moment for us to argue about who was better than the rest. We had to focus on shifting, surviving the fucking process, and then, we h

Eden povLeaving my mates behind didn’t go how I planned it initially. Both were supposed to stay at the castle and babysit Magnus. Knowing how overprotective of him Titus and Lucius were, I was sure our boy was with someone we could trust, so at least I didn’t have to worry about that. It felt as if I had gotten one weight off my shoulders and a new one replaced it. Now, I knew I couldn’t feel at ease until I dealt with the threat and returned to my mates. I needed them both to be safe. I needed them to be careful, not act like reckless little children who loved to get their asses in trouble. Giants looked scary and dangerous, so I hoped those two wouldn’t get hurt. I had no idea how those creatures acted and operated, but I was genuinely surprised when I realized that giants didn’t notice me sneaking past them. Perhaps a part of me was sure they would notice… And weirdly enough, all of a sudden, after all the endless lectures, Kanox had nothing to say. My senses were going th

Lucius povBy the time Xabat and Leo were done, fully content with their doings, the whole area was covered in nothing but blood. I was sure it would attract rogues soon, and no matter how much I enjoyed ripping those in pieces, we didn’t have time for that now. I encouraged Xabat to give Leo a moment to rest while we wandered the forest and found a couple of hidden bags with clothes. Although it would be a tight fit, taking in consideration that we were bigger than regular werewolves, I was happy we found anything at all. Returning to Leo, we found him sitting next to a tree, the back of his head leaned against it. I threw one bag at his feet and quickly shifted. His eyes didn’t leave me as I opened my bag, pulled out clothes and got dressed. Once I was done, I raised an eyebrow at him. Being the little shit he has always been, Leo just mimicked me. A groan left me as I tried to remain as calm as possible. We were far from done with this bullshit, only the Goddess knew what Eden

Lucius povWe barged into the living room and froze. Never in my life had I thought that I would get this bloody turned on by seeing someone commit what technically was a crime. Murder, to be exact. Funny how I wasn’t the only one who shared the sentiment. “Fuck this, I’m as hard as a rock,” Titus muttered next to me. I gulped, nodded and added, “same, love. Fucking same.” The fact that both of us were wearing whatever clothing I found in the forest and it was too small wasn’t helping either. Titus looked like he was in pain, and Goddess, so was I. This was the worst moment for one of us to sport an erection, but instead, both of us did. The reason for that? Ha, simple. Eden. Our woman was covered in blood from head to toes. Her step-mother’s lifeless body was tied to the chair while her step-sister kept screaming her head off. The brat was tied to another chair, facing the mother. Eden, however, stood right behind the dead bitch, stared at her step-sister with zero emotions

Lucius pov Needless to say Titus didn’t get what he wanted. We had to get rid of the bodies and proof that we had been there, not fuck around and find out what consequences might come. Just because I was the King and these two hotheads were my mates didn’t mean we didn’t have to follow the law. This was a personal matter, not another house of criminals burned down. At the end of the day, there was a difference between preventing someone from commiting more vile crimes and killing someone for revenge. As I bagged up the bodies and brought them outside, I couldn’t help but wonder where the pack members were. Last time we came here, the building was buzzing with life, while now it was dead and soulless. I left Titus and Eden in the living room. They were responsible for cleaning up the mess she cheated while I dug the graves these two didn’t deserve. “Maybe they sent everyone away? Titus killed that Alpha, whatever for, and the grounds were buzzing with giants when we arrived.

  • EDEN: The Daughter of the Moon   HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR

Eden pov After we left my step-mother’s territory, I felt like a weight left my shoulders. I never realized just how much the existence of that vile woman and her daughter weighed down on me. But now that I knew they were out of the picture for good, I could finally focus on my future. I had a family now - two amazing mates and a beautiful son. But that wasn’t all… Kanox had claimed he could see children in my future. Honestly, I felt as ecstatic as scared after learning it. I always wanted to be a mother, simply to give my child a family just as amazing as one that was torn away from me. We already had Magnus, and honestly, I feared our boy would deem himself replaceable as another baby would enter our lives. I didn’t want him to feel that way. Ever. Then there was a question about Lucius and Titus. I loved them both, but I knew that the moment they would learn about the possibility, they both would go crazy and push for a baby. Men, especially those of high power, were wired lik

Eden povMy eyes scanned the room. Magnus had stopped crying the moment the voice echoed against the walls and now, my son was looking up at me with nothing but concern in his eyes. “Mommy?” The one word that passed his lips was more than enough for me to understand what he was asking. On instinct, my hand shot to the back of his head as I tried to pull it closer to my chest, as if that could help me protect my boy. “It’s okay, baby. Just close your eyes and let me deal with this. You’re safe, I’ll keep you safe.” All odds were against me, so it did feel as if I was lying. But then again, there was no way I was going to tell a child that we could possibly die because the scary entity was back. “Not your child,” it repeated again, sending cold shivers down my spine. The weirdest part was that no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t see anything. Even the dark silhouette I once encountered wasn’t anywhere to be seen. I refused to believe it found a place to hide. The room was light

Eden povI was beyond nervous as I tried to stop my hands from shaking while cutting up the vegetables. I hadn’t had enough time to figure out how to come clean with my family, but this really felt like the right time to do that. Lucius and Titus were probably already playing their guessing game about whatever they had done wrong and I wouldn’t disturb them doing that. Honestly, both of them have been acting like two hormonal teenagers these days, so they deserved a little adult worthy stress. As some of the kitchen ladies joined me and started up the usual conversations, I felt more at ease. However, every time when I glanced at the clock and saw the dinner time nearing, a new wave of unease surged through me. “Are you planning to prepare some desserts for little Magnus, my Queen?” Mayra asked, flashing me her usual bright smile. I hummed, thinking if sugar was a good idea right before bedtime. But then again, this dinner had to resemble sort of a joyful moment, so maybe it wou

§Three months after the wedding.§Titus povEden was officially ours and no one could do shit about it. Our journey had been nothing less than a deadly fucking rollercoaster ride, but the outcome was so worth it. Looking back at how things went, personally I went from thinking I wouldn’t find a mate, to finding one and being rejected, and finally, to finding out that my best friend and the woman I had grown extremely protective of were my own ‘it’. But best of all, I didn’t get only them. With them both came a family I didn’t dare to dream of and an awesome son. I didn’t tell Lucius and Eden, but if I had to choose, I would always choose Magnus. The little dude was awesome. At least sometimes he was.And now, while Eden and Lucius were busy running around the castle and fucking on top of every surface they could find, my little man Magnus and I were nearly done with building the most badass lego set ever. Well, we would be done with it ages ago if the little shit wouldn’t accuse m

Eden povThe next moment, Titus shoved me on the bed. Both my amazing mates, now husbands, didn’t return the favor they did when they were undressing me. Instead, they took off their clothes torturously slowly. Piece by piece, they dropped everything next to their feet and grinned at me like lunatics.Rolling my eyes, I groaned and turned to my side to mumble, “since you two are taking ages to undress, I might as well take a nap while you’re at it.” I knew I was playing with fire, but what was life without some spark in it? It didn’t take much time for both of them to grab my ankles and pull me to the end of the bed. Lucius instantly dropped to his knees and spread my legs. The moment his tongue ran between my folds, Titus’ lips captured mine in a passionate kiss. All of my moans were muffled and silenced by his tongue, tasing me and exploring every bit of my mouth. When Lucius slid his tongue lower, I bit Titus’ lip to break the kiss. “What?” He asked, breathless. “What is Luc

Eden povWith Richard and Magnus by my sides, I felt at ease. The door opened and the music started. As soon as we stepped on the beautiful white carpet laid down the aisle, Lucius and Titus turned their heads to look in our direction. The moment their eyes set on me, blinding smiles spread across their lips. I had never thought about my wedding day, but I never imagined that my husband-to-be would cry seeing me. In reality, I had two men who were ready to die for me, and both had tears in their eyes. As I slowly walked down the aisle, I couldn’t tear my eyes away from them. Both were wearing perfectly tailored suits, a rose in their pockets. And best of all, they were holding each other’s hand. When I finally reached them, Richard squeezed my hand, whispered, “I’m so proud of you,” and then held my wrist to offer my hand to Lucius. Magnus did the same, but he whispered that I looked beautiful and he would punch his dad’s asses if they hurt me. Richard and Magnus took their assi

Eden pov A week had passed since we returned home, like one, united family, better than ever. Lucius made it his life goal to ensure that my old pack had everything under control. As it turned out, the old Alpha was a liar, not a man of honor. He faked his disease to get rid of the responsibilities of leading a pack and while everyone worried about his health, the old Alpha lived a life of luxury. That, of course, was sponsored by the wealth left to me by my mother as well. Recently, the new Alpha and his Luna found out that the pack was nowhere near struggling financially even without my money. They had loads of cash hidden all over the place and multiple incoming money streams. We all agreed that it had to be the plan of the old Alpha and my step-mother. They had to have been planning to save up as much as they could, bleed the pack dry and take off. But as for us, our life was great. My mates were better than ever, Richard took it upon himself to bond with our son and b

Eden pov This was one of those moments when I really needed Kanox. I needed his advice or at least to hear his voice. While I had no idea what I was supposed to do, he would definitely have the answer. My eyes focused on the sick creature, wearing someone’s else’s skin as if that was no big deal. He looked human, but didn’t smell like one. Honestly, if he were to walk among other humans, I had little to no hope that anyone around him would understand that he was a sick, sinister creature, not one of their own. When he stepped so close I could smell a hint of sulfur on him, I realized he wasn’t just another supernatural. This was the first time I caught on the smell as well. “Will you first tell me the full story about my parents?” Clearly, he saw through me. I wanted to know, yes, but I also was using the question to stall, to win some time for my mates. “Of course, anything for you,” it said, grinning. I gulped, growing more nervous with every second that passed, but

Titus povI had no idea how Lucius felt about this, but what I found extremely fascinating was how the old man spoke about Eden. He sounded amazed and scared shitless at the same time. Sure, I wasn’t the best person to judge one’s character without massive amounts of information, but I could have sworn that he was just as clueless about what this ‘special’ trait was as we were. “And?” Lucius broke the silence, urging the old man to tell us more. The grunt that left him clearly was a proof of his unwillingness to tell us more, not that Lucius cared anyway. “Richard, we are done playing games. It is our mate you are talking about, Titus and I deserve to know what’s so special about Eden and exactly why that creature is after her.” My eyes darted between them two as I imagined an intense tennis match. The ball went from one side of the court to the other, never reaching the ground or the white lines surrounding them. At this rate, this imaginary match could go on for ages. “There a

Lucius pov“Where?” I growled the word as I stomped to him, grabbed his throat and squeezed it until I cut off his air supply. I trusted this fool. I trusted him with the safety of my mate and this is how it came out? He ran like a bloody coward while our mate was taken by some mad lunatic and brought Goddess knew where? Richard’s hands grabbed mine as he struggled to get out of my hold, but I had none of it. Whatever would happen next was out of my control - this time, I would allow Xabat take the fucking thing he loved almost as much as he loved our mates. Richard’s spine. Titus rushed to my side and carefully placed his hand on my shoulder. “Xabat, babe, let him go. Trust me, we need him alive. It wasn’t his fault. Don’t make this harder than it already is. Listen to what the old man has to say, maybe he has ideas where that fuckhead took Eden. We need the old man.” Honestly, I wouldn’t have released Richard. Ever. He had to pay for his carelessness and lack of attempts to save

Eden povMy eyebrows furrowed in confusion. I understood that this thing was on some weird quest because of my late mother, but why was her blood so damn important? While I was busy trying to figure it out, the creature snapped his fingers and suddenly, my eyes opened with ease. The weight was gone and nothing held me down, except for the restraints on my legs. “See, it wasn't so hard, was it?” It mocked me.My eyes scanned the dark room until they set on the black blob of nothingness in the furthest corner. I might be freaking dreaming because I could have sworn the thing was grinning at me. It had no mouth, no eyes, no limbs - nothing. And yet, I could feel his eyes on me and see the non-existent grin across the lips. “Do not worry, my lovely. I shall help you see me in a better light soon. You see, I have brought a friend with me. Trust me, you’ll love him. I chose him to fit your liking. I told you that I’ve been watching, haven’t I?” With that being said, the thing disappear
