By the time Xabat and Leo were done, fully content with their doings, the whole area was covered in nothing but blood. I was sure it would attract rogues soon, and no matter how much I enjoyed ripping those in pieces, we didn’t have time for that now.

I encouraged Xabat to give Leo a moment to rest while we wandered the forest and found a couple of hidden bags with clothes. Although it would be a tight fit, taking in consideration that we were bigger than regular werewolves, I was happy we found anything at all.

Returning to Leo, we found him sitting next to a tree, the back of his head leaned against it.

I threw one bag at his feet and quickly shifted. His eyes didn’t leave me as I opened my bag, pulled out clothes and got dressed. Once I was done, I raised an eyebrow at him.

Being the little shit he has always been, Leo just mimicked me.
