Chapter 65

Sarah's pov

"Where is she now?" I stood up from my seat uneasily.

After the fight between Ethan and Alex, which was quite fierce, without being interrupted by the security guard in the building, Alex soon lost consciousness and surprised me. I panicked, thinking something might have happened to him, and took him seriously. Regardless of what Alex did, I didn't want to see someone's death occur in front of me, so I checked on him frantically.

But Ethan pulled me from there and said that Alex had just fainted. He lost his self-consciousness, but he was fine, so I didn't need to worry. Before I could speak again, he had already led me out of the building, put me in his car, and told Luke to go home while he didn't say anything else.

I really didn't know what was going on, and I'd been trying to contact him to ask, but Ethan never picked up his phone calls until late afternoon, when he still hadn't come home.
