Chapter 41

Sarah’s POv

That afternoon was a weekend when I was free from my work routine. After breakfast this morning, I went upstairs to my room and did what I wanted. In between, I was a bit lazy by lying on my bed, which always called me to be on it, and snuggling with the blanket.

If I look at the cloudy weather outside, it's like it's giving me an excuse to keep hiding under the blanket. "It's fine, I don't have any urgent work either," I muttered, giving myself a reason to relax. There was nothing that really urged me to move anyway. The matter of my divorce was even just pending in the next week.

What happened that day and afterward, I wanted to plan only after the verdict to be more relieved and feel free with my completely changed status. But the knock on the door that came to my ears made my body move from the middle of the bed and get off. "Yes, just a moment."
