"Ah, shit! What happened?" I closed the door of the house roughly and dropped my body on the sofa unceremoniously.

Today's decision really pissed me off. Where exactly did she get all that evidence for the submission when I had been so careful every time I saw Emily? I'm sure I wasn't being careless by having someone catch my trail or anything like that. I even applied to various places to see Emily, not under my name, but how could she know?

"What a bitch!" My hand picked up the sofa cushion and threw it unceremoniously in annoyance. My emotions were getting the better of me, my body felt a radiating heat, and I repeatedly inhaled and exhaled, not making me feel any better.

My chest still felt like it was on fire. Everything should have gone well. This is beyond my imagination. I thought she would just be angry for a while and accept me again. Hasn't she always been independent, not relying on the help of others and always making herself her helper? So why was she so angry
