Chapter 48

1 year later...

With his fast steps Arka ran down the hospital corridor. The man did not stop reciting prayers hoping that nothing unwanted would happen to his wife. A few moments ago when he was having a meeting with his client, suddenly his mother called him and said that Naya was going to give birth. Right after getting the news Arka immediately went to the hospital.

When he arrived at the delivery room, Arka saw his parents and also Naya's mother sitting in front of the waiting room crying. The man quickly approached them "daddy, mommy , where is Naya? How is she?" He asked with a panicked expression.

"Arka, you've arrived. You should go inside, Naya has been screaming your name since earlier. Accompany her to give birth. Strengthen her," said Arka's mother.

Arka nodded before entering the delivery room, in the room he saw Naya who looked in pain trying to give birth to their first child. Seeing Arka's arrival, Naya cried even more. Arka tightly held Naya's hand while occasionally kissing her forehead.

 "Honey, I'm here, please hold on. You can do it, come on, you can do it, our child will be born soon, honey," Arka said while crying. Honestly, the man couldn't bear to see his wife in pain like this.

"Arka, it hurts so much, I can't take it!" Naya said while crying.

"Come on, miss , her head is visible, push harder. Sir, please strengthen your wife, give her encouragement," said the doctor who helped Naya deliver her.

Arka was seen tightening his grip while not stopping praying, kissing Naya's forehead while continuing to encourage her. "Come on honey, you can do it, I'm sure you can. Honey, remember our child will be born into the world soon. We will become a father and mother. I beg you to fight." 

While enduring the pain, Naya shook her head, the woman really couldn't bear the pain. It really hurt, she had never been in danger of giving birth this painful. "Arka, I can't take it anymore. Promise me, when I leave later, please take good care of our child. Love him with all your heart." 

 "No, don't say that! You and our child will be fine. I know you are strong, Naya I beg you to be strong. I beg you to fight for me, for our child and for us." 

"Naya, listen to me. You are a great and strong woman. You can do it, remember there is me, your mother and my parents who are waiting for you. We are all waiting for you and our child. You can do it. Hold my hand, do whatever you want to endure the pain. You can scratch me, pull my hair or whatever you want I will accept it. You have to be able to do it dear, you have to be strong, I am sure you can do it." 

"I beg you dear, fight, I beg you," Arka whispered while crying. The man could not hold back his tears seeing Naya struggling between life and death to give birth to their child. 

Getting strength and encouragement from her husband, Naya finally made up her mind to continue fighting. The woman was seen taking a deep breath before exhaling slowly with the help and instructions of the obstetrician, Naya followed all his instructions until not long after the sound of a baby's cry filled the delivery room.  Right at that moment, Arka burst into tears. He almost died seeing Naya struggling between life and death for their child.

"Hiks you did it honey, you did it. Thank you, thank you for fighting for me and our child," Arka said while hugging his wife. The man was very happy. Right now, this second he had officially become a father. It felt like a dream, he had never imagined before that he would become a father.

Outside the room, Arka's parents and Naya's mother who heard the sound of the baby crying were seen crying with emotion. They all felt very happy because they heard the sound of their first grandchild crying.

"Nurse, Are they okay?" Arka's mother asked when she saw a nurse who helped Naya's delivery come out of the delivery room.

"Mother and child are safe, both are safe."

A sigh of relief was heard. They looked relieved because they knew that Naya and her baby were okay. "Nurse, can we go in and visit our child?" asked Naya's mother.

 "For now, it's not allowed, the mother's condition is still too weak. Later, after she is moved to a regular inpatient room, then you can visit. If so, I'll excuse myself."

Since earlier, Arka couldn't stop rubbing his cheeks while kissing his child's chubby cheeks. Their child was born male.

"Arka, have you named your child? You should name him now," said Arka's father. Currently, Arka's parents and Naya's mother were in Naya's inpatient room. They looked very happy to see how handsome and cute their first grandchild was.

"I've thought about it, dad. Naya and I have discussed the right name for our child. Kenzo Putra Bimantara, I will give him that name," said Arka.

"A nice name, ah it feels like a dream because now we have a grandchild. Thank you Arka and Naya, you have given us a very handsome grandchild," said Arka's mother.

In the middle of their chat, Arka and Naya's friends suddenly came. Jihan came with Dahya, Sina Yuna and also Juna, the five of them immediately approached Naya and congratulated her on her birth.

 "Naya, congratulations on your birth. Why is your child so cute, his cheeks are chubby just like yours," said Dahya.

"Right. He looks very handsome, is he a boy?" asked Yuna which was immediately answered by Naya and also.

"By the way, what's his name?" replied Jihan.

"Kenzo Putra Bimantara, you can call him Kenzo. His name is cool, right?" replied Arka.

They started chatting together. Since earlier, Dahya and Sina have not stopped rubbing Kenzo's very chubby cheeks.

"Yuna, Juna, where is your child? Didn't he come?" asked Naya when she realized that Yuna and Juna came without their child. By the way, Yuna had given birth to her first child who is now 4 months old.

"He's at home with his grandmother," replied Yuna. Coincidentally, Yuna and Juna and their child are currently on vacation in Jakarta, so they can visit and see Naya.

 Their conversation continued, in the middle of the conversation Naya looked silent while staring at her child who was sleeping soundly. The woman even felt like this was a dream. She couldn't believe that now she and Arka were parents. Seeing his wife's silence, Arka immediately approached her. The man was seen kissing his wife's forehead briefly then moving on to kissing his child's forehead. "Honey, thank you for the happiness you have given me. Right now I feel like I am the happiest person in the world. Thank you for completing our happiness. I promise that in the future I will be a good husband and father to you and also to us. I love you and also our child." 

"Thank you for being a good husband all this time. Without you I would not have been able to survive and fight. Arka, thank you for making me happy all this time. I love you, I really love you, My crazy teacher."
