Chapter55

Jenny had been waiting for Arka's arrival in the art room for almost an hour but he never came. Several times Jenny tried to contact Arka but none of her calls were picked up by the man.

"Where the hell is Arka! Doesn't he want to come see me? Fuck!"

Although annoyed, Jenny still waited in that place. Not long after, the door to the art room opened, and one by one, students began to enter the room. It looked like the art room wanted to be used by one of the classes.

"There's an art lesson today?" Jenny asked one of the students who had just entered the art room.

"Yes, miss."

"Have you seen Mr. Arka?"

"Mr. Arka, I think I saw him in the cafeteria with his wife."

"Naya?"

The student nodded.

"Damn, this is the reason why Arka didn't come," Jenny thought irritably. Without saying a word the woman chose to walk out of the art room. Why wait, Arka wouldn't come to see her.

"Why, miss Jenny's face looks upset. Did you say something that upset her?" Asked one of the students to her friend who was asked by Jenny.

"I didn't say anything. Miss Jenny just asked me if I saw Mr. Arka or not. I said I saw him in the cafeteria with his wife. You saw him too, right?"

"No wonder Miss Jenny looked upset. She seems to be jealous."

"Never mind that's none of our business."

Jenny walked quickly towards the cafeteria. She wanted to make sure whether Arka was really in the cafeteria with Naya or not. 

When she arrived at the cafeteria, Jenny saw Arka eating with Naya. Seeing this, Jenny immediately approached them. Without asking permission, the woman immediately sat herself down on one of the empty seats.

"Hello, I can sit here, right?" Jenny asked with a smile.

You can see Naya and Arka's displeased reactions to Jenny's arrival. Both Naya and Arka seemed to dislike her arrival.

"Why are you sitting here? Did anyone let you sit here? There are plenty of empty seats anyway, why are you sitting here?" Naya asked unhappily.

"Is it polite for you to talk to your lecturer like that? I am your lecturer, speak politely. Besides, I have something to talk to Mr. Arka about."

"Mr. Arka is busy! You'd better leave."

Instead of leaving, Jenny remained still and did not move from her seat. Smiling, she looked at Arka before raising her voice. "Mr. Arka, why didn't you come? Didn't we make an appointment last night to meet in the art room?"

Hearing the question that had just left Jenny's lips made Naya shoot her a sharp look. 

“Why did you ask to meet someone else's husband? Don't you know Arka already has a wife and I'm his wife?"

"I'm not in the mood to talk to you so you better shut up."

"What did you say? Shut up? You're talking to my husband and I'm not letting you."

"I don't need your permission to talk to Mr. Arka."

Seeing that Naya was about to throw a tantrum, Arka quickly restrained her. He didn't want a fight between Jenny and Naya. If they fought again, they, especially Arka, would be reprimanded by the campus management for the second time.

"Mr. Arka, where are you going? I have something to talk to you about." Jenny fearlessly held Arka's hand as he was about to walk away with Naya.

Seeing how her husband's hand was being touched by Jenny, Naya quickly let go. She was about to fly into a rage again but Arka quickly held her back.

"Jenny, if you want to talk to me then talk to me now," Arka said as he released Jenny's hand.

"I can't, I want to have an important talk with you so please come with me for a moment."

"Sorry Jenny, I can't. If you want to talk to me, talk to me here now. If you don't want to, that's it."

Seeing Arka was about to walk away, Jenny quickly held her back.

"Okay, I'm talking now. So my parents want to invite you to dinner. Can you make it?"

"No!" Very to the point, Arka immediately refused Jenny's invitation to be invited to dinner at the woman's house.

There was a smile on Naya's lips as soon as she heard her husband's refusal. It was very satisfying to see Jenny's upset reaction when Arka refused the invitation to dinner at her house.

"There's nothing more to talk about, right? I have to go now."

"Wait a minute! Please Arka, just this once. My parents want to apologize to you about the past."

"I don't remember it anymore so there's no need to apologize."

"Arka..."

"Alright, it's tonight right? I'll come." Arka's words caught Jenny and Naya by surprise. 

Naya was very surprised to hear that her husband, who had refused Jenny's invitation, now agreed to it. 

Jenny, on the other hand, looks so happy and enthusiastic to hear Arka accept her family's dinner invitation.

"Okay, I'll be at my house at 7pm."

Arka simply nodded before walking away with Naya.

Sure enough at 7pm Arka was already preparing to go to Jenny's house to attend her family's dinner invitation. 

Dressed neatly, the man walked down the stairs to the lower floor.

Arriving downstairs, Arka saw Naya sitting alone in the television room watching one of the television programs. He immediately approached her.

"Why aren't you ready yet?" Arka asked, making Naya who had been focused on watching television turn her head.

Instead of answering her husband's question, Naya remained silent before returning her gaze to the television screen in front of her.

"I asked, why aren't you ready yet? I am

Wait five minutes, hurry up and get ready."

"Getting ready where?" Naya asked without turning her head.

"To attend Jenny's family dinner."

"Why do I have to get ready? You're the one who was invited."

"Don't ask too many questions, hurry up and get ready now before I change your clothes."

Despite being very annoyed and lazy, Naya eventually complied. She lazily got up and walked up the stairs to her room. 

Meanwhile, Arka chose to wait for her in the living room.

The reason why Arka took Naya away was because he wanted to introduce her as his husband. That's why he accepted Jenny's invitation this afternoon.

It took at least 15 minutes for Naya to finish getting ready. Wearing a black knee-length dress, Naya walked slowly down the stairs. Seeing Naya so beautiful made Arka speechless. Truly his wife looked very beautiful at the moment.

"Why, is there something wrong with my clothes?" Naya asked after the woman arrived in front of Arka standing.

"No, you're beautiful. Are you ready? Let's go."

"Wait a minute. I don't want to stay there too long. I want to come back from Jenny's house and go to your mom's house to get Kenzo. I don't feel comfortable leaving Kenzo at your Mom's for too long."

"Mommy said Kenzo still feels at home there. I also don't mind if Kenzo stays there. We'll try to stop by my mom's house, and if Kenzo wants to come home, we'll take him home."

Elsewhere, Jenny was standing in front of the mirror looking at herself, who looked very beautiful to her. She couldn't stop smiling and couldn't wait to meet Arka.

"Wow! You look so beautiful."

Hearing her mom's voice, Jenny immediately turned her head. She smiled again and said, "I look pretty already, Mom? I don't want to disappoint Arka. I have to look very beautiful in front of him so that he will be interested in me."

"Already dear, you are very beautiful. By the way, is Arka really coming? Did he say he was coming?"

Jenny nodded "Already mom, he said he will come."

"That's good. Yes, hurry up and finish my dressing, mom is waiting in the dining room."
