Chapter 52

After returning from campus, Arka couldn't stop thinking about Jenny. For some reason, the man suddenly felt uneasy after finding out that Jenny was an intern at the campus where he taught. 

We all know Jenny's character, that woman will do anything to get everything she wants. Arka was afraid that Jenny's arrival at campus was not only because of her internship as a lecturer, Arka was afraid that the woman's arrival had bad intentions for him, especially Naya. 

Seeing her husband who had been daydreaming all this time, Naya, who had just finished putting Kenzo to bed, immediately approached him. The woman sat down right next to her husband. Naya immediately frowned in confusion when she saw her husband was silent. Was it because he was too focused on daydreaming that her husband didn't realize her presence? Or was her husband already conscious but deliberately silent because he was still angry? Naya thought. 

"Arka, what's wrong with you?" 

One sentence that had just come out of Naya's lips managed to break Arka's reverie. The man was a little surprised to see Naya sitting beside him. "Naya, since when were you here?" 

"Since I was still in my mother's womb." 

 “Naya, I don’t feel like joking.”

Naya was seen taking a deep breath. The woman was starting to get a little annoyed with her husband’s response. “Just now. What’s wrong with you? I noticed that since you got home from campus you’ve been daydreaming. Is there a problem? You didn’t even realize that I’m sitting here. Are you still mad at me because of this afternoon?”

Instead of answering Naya’s question, Arka just kept quiet. The man was confused about whether he should tell Naya about Jenny’s presence on campus or not? Arka was afraid that Jenny would do something bad to Naya, but Arka also didn’t want to make Naya think about it if she found out that Jenny was now an intern on campus.

“Arka! I asked you why you’re just silent? Are you still mad at me? Because of this afternoon’s problem? Didn’t I apologize? Besides, it wasn’t my fault, you surprised me by suddenly hugging me in a public place.”

“No, I’m not mad at you. Naya, do you still remember Jenny?” Arka asked doubtfully.

“Jenny?” Naya looked silent for a moment.

Naya was silent for quite a while until the woman nodded.

 “The one you were matched with? The one who almost married you but I managed to thwart it?”

Arka nodded.

“Why? Why are you suddenly asking about it? Do you miss her?” Naya asked in a tone and expression full of suspicion.

Now it was Arka’s turn to take a deep breath. During their marriage, Naya had often accused him of things he didn’t do, but even so, Arka was still happy.

“Arka!”

“No, I’m just asking. Naya, I’m tired, can you prepare me some warm water? I want to take a shower.”

“But..,” before Naya could continue her sentence, Arka had already gotten up from the sofa and walked towards his room. Leaving Naya who was still confused as to why her husband suddenly asked about Jenny.

“Arka, why did you suddenly ask about Jenny? Could it be that he really misses that woman? Tsk, what a guy! Already having children and a wife, he still thinks about other women.”

Because last night's incident made Naya keep thinking about it. The woman thought that Arka was trying to get close to Jenny. That's what made Naya want to keep an eye on Arka while on campus and outside of campus.

"Naya, how's Kenzo? Who's he with?" Asked Jinan who had just come to meet Naya at a cafe.

"I left Kenzo with my mother. Jinan, where's Sina?"

Before Jinan had a chance to answer Naya's question, Sina had already arrived. The woman immediately approached Jinan and Naya when she saw them.

"Sorry I'm late, my shop was busy earlier. Btw, what's up? It's rare for you to ask us to meet, Nay?" Asked Sina.

Naya finally explained the reason why she invited Jinan and Sina to meet, which was to ask for their help in keeping an eye on Arka. Naya said that the woman suspected that Arka had a relationship with Jenny.

"Jenny? The girl who almost married Arka?"

Naya nodded. "Last night Arka came home and suddenly he talked about Jenny. It’s unusual for Arka to talk about Jenny, I’m afraid they’re secretly in a relationship.”

“I don’t think they’re in a relationship. Even if they were, why didn’t they just get married? Wasn’t it Arka who didn’t want to be matched with Jenny?

Jinan is still the same as before, that woman won’t let Naya think negatively about anything. Every time there’s a problem, Jinan will try to make Naya calm and keep thinking positively, unlike Sina who immediately starts thinking negatively like Naya.

“Maybe Arka just asked, or did he accidentally meet Jenny?”

“It’s impossible if he just asked, why would Arka ask about Jenny? Or maybe it’s true that they met? But where? Or why did they meet?” Naya asked.

Jinan and Sina just shook their heads, not knowing. They weren’t fortune tellers who knew everything.

“Rather than guessing, we’d better look for your husband. He teaches at the campus, right?”

Naya nodded. The three girls immediately went to the campus where Arka taught.

During the trip to campus, Naya tried to contact Arka several times but unfortunately none of her calls were answered by her husband. Of course, this made Naya even more convinced that her husband might have a relationship with Jenny. 

Previously, Naya had checked her husband's teaching schedule and for now there was no schedule for him to teach, except this afternoon so there should be no reason for him not to have time to answer her call. 

After 15 minutes, Naya, Jinan and Sina finally arrived at campus. Once they parked the car properly, the three women immediately entered the campus area. 

"Are you sure Arka isn't teaching right now? Maybe he's busy teaching so he doesn't have time to answer your call?" Jinan asked. 

"No, I've checked his teaching schedule and there is no teaching schedule right now." 

"Wait! Isn't that Jenny?" Sina shouted when she accidentally saw the woman who was thought to be Jenny. 

Jenny, the woman was seen walking in the campus corridor. Because they were curious, Naya, Jinan and Sina immediately followed her. 

It turned out that Jenny's destination was a park.  The park was quite quiet, only one or two students were passing by. 

"She looks like she's waiting for someone, who is it?" Sina asked. 

"Let's just wait here." 

Not long after that, someone came who Jenny had been waiting for. Who would have thought that it was Arka. Someone who had been making Naya think about it. 

"Arka? Why are they meeting here? I can't let it be, I have to go to them." 

Jinan had tried to prevent Naya from approaching Arka and Jenny, but unfortunately her efforts failed because Naya had already stepped forward to approach Arka and Jenny. 

"Ckk you Sin, if only you hadn't told Naya that you saw Jenny, Naya wouldn't be this angry." 

"Why is it my fault? Our purpose here is to monitor Arka and find out whether Arka and Jenny are related or not and it turns out that the two of them are secretly meeting, so what's wrong with that?"
