Chapter 42

By 8pm Naya and the others had arrived in Jakarta. Jihan, Dahya and Sina went straight home by online taxi, while Arka and Naya were still waiting for their pick-up. 

Tonight Naya plans to stay at Arka's apartment because before leaving for Jakarta, Naya's mother sent her a message that she had to stay at a relative's house in Bandung because she was waiting for a sick relative. Naya, who didn't dare to stay at home alone, decided to stay at Arka's apartment.

"It's coming, you go in first. I'll put your stuff in the trunk," Arka told Naya.

Naya nodded. After putting his and Naya's luggage into the trunk, Arka immediately got into the car. He wanted to get to the apartment as soon as possible and rest. Although the Bali-Jakarta trip only took no more than two hours, Arka felt very weak because on the plane he had seen a passenger who was motion sick.

After traveling for about 15 minutes, Arka and Naya finally arrived at the apartment. Without taking off his shoes and jacket, Arka immediately laid down on the living room sofa. The man was completely limp and dizzy just from the sight of motion sickness.

Naya was seen shaking her head before the girl finally entered the guest room she usually stayed in when staying at Arka's apartment.

After putting down her suitcase, Naya decided to take a shower. It didn't take long for Naya to take a shower because she thought it was bad for her to take a bath at night. After feeling clean, Naya left the room to see if Arka was still in the living room or not.

A sigh escaped Naya's mouth when she saw Arka still in the same position. 

Naya slowly walked over to Arka. "Arka wake up, clean your body first and then sleep," she said while gently shaking Arka's body.

Instead of listening to Naya's commands, Arka looked even sleepier. This was evident when she tightened her embrace on the sofa cushion.

"Ckkk, it's hard to sleep like this."

Naya was forced to let Arka sleep a little longer. To make Arka feel comfortable, Naya removed the shoes that were still attached to the man's feet. Once she was sure Arka was comfortable in he sleep, Naya went to the kitchen to see what she could eat for dinner since she hadn't had dinner earlier. 

The luxurious two-door fridge that had just opened revealed its empty contents. It turns out that beautiful outside does not guarantee beautiful inside. Naya shook her head as she found nothing to eat except raw eggs and sausages.

"Arka, Arka. No wonder he eats so much fast food, this nice fridge is never even filled.".

There was no other choice but to cook fried rice. It was the only thing that could be cooked considering there were only eggs and sausages in the fridge. Naya was sure Arka must have some rice that could be cooked into rice, there was no way she would have any rice.

After finding the rice and cooking it into rice, Naya started cooking the fried rice. The girl painstakingly cut the sausages that would be used as toppings for the fried rice. The fragrant aroma of her fried rice seemed to have disturbed Arka's deep sleep. It was seen when the man began to squirm while opening his eyes slowly.

"Hmm, what is this smell? Why is it so delicious?"

Arka slowly got up, the man sat on the sofa while rubbing his eyes which were still a little heavy. If he was honest, Arka was still very sleepy. But the sound of worms in his stomach and the fragrant aroma of Naya's cooking made him want to wake up.

After finding out the source of the fragrant cooking she smelled, Arka immediately made her way to the kitchen. She could see the back of her fiancé who seemed to be busy with her cooking.

"What are you cooking?"

Suddenly Naya was shocked as soon as she felt a burly hand hugging her stomach and Arka's head resting on her shoulder.

"Gosh Arka, you scared me."

Arka just smiled as he tightened her embrace, really hugging Naya's body from behind like this was something he loved. For him , Naya's body was perfect for this kind of hug. "What are you cooking? The smell is coming into my dreams."

"Fried rice, you only have this in your fridge."

"Hehe, I haven't had time to ask my aunt to go shopping. We spent a few days in Bali yesterday anyway, so I emptied my fridge."

"I see. Let go of your hand. It'll be done soon, take a shower and then we'll have dinner together."

"Leave it like this for a while longer, I'm already comfortable like this."

"But you're bothering me, Arka. Take a shower anyway, you smell like sweat!"

Hearing Naya say that his body smelled of sweat, Arka immediately let go of his hug. Without saying anything the man ran straight to his room. Arka's behavior made Naya shake her head. Even though Naya was only joking about Arka's body smelling of sweat, in fact, the man smelled very good even though he hadn't bathed. Naya deliberately lied to her so that Arka would let go of the hug on her stomach that made her very amused and not focus on cooking.

After their friends returned to Jakarta, Yuna and Juna decided to live in an apartment first until their dream house was completed. Today is the first day they live in the apartment as husband and wife after staying in a hotel with their friends a few days ago.

A few days of being Juna's wife, this was the first time Yuna felt very strange. Usually the girl felt normal when going to bed at night, but it felt like something was different this time. Suddenly the girl felt embarrassed to sleep in the same room with Juna.

With his wet hair, Juna walked out of the bathroom. He had just finished showering and was now about to approach Yuna who was putting on a series of skincare in front of the dressing table.

"No need for skincare, you're already beautiful, baby."

Instantly Yuna's cheeks reddened as soon as she heard Juna call her with affectionate calls. Cheeks that had been the color of natural skin were suddenly red from holding back embarrassment. Realizing his wife's embarrassed face, Juna chuckled.

"Yuna, can I ask you a favor? Dry my hair. I just finished washing it."

Yuna hesitantly nodded. The girl stood up and turned her body to face Juna. The first thing Yuna did was to take the towel that was wrapped around Juna's neck and wipe it on Juna's wet hair.

Unexpectedly, Juna pulled Yuna's body closer. Without realizing it, Juna's treatment again made Yuna embarrassed, even her heartbeat immediately beat 2x faster.

"Yuna, tonight I want to do it," Juna said, making Yuna immediately bulge her eyes wide. Yuna knew what her husband meant. The girl also knew that sooner or later Juna would want to ask for her rights.

"If you're not ready, it's okay. I will wait for you until you are ready."

"Mmm Juna, I'm ready. However, I have to do the duties of a wife, don't I? So I'll do it."
