Chapter 41

"Jihan, are you ready yet? I'll open it, okay?" shouted Naya.  

Silence, no response from Jihan or anyone else. Because she felt like she had been blindfolded for quite some time, Naya immediately removed the blindfold. 

Suddenly the woman was surprised when she saw that no one was there.  

Naya started shouting her friends' names one by one, but unfortunately none of her friends responded.   

Until a few moments later a girl came and gave her a piece of paper. "This is a gift from my brother's friend, Jihan," said the girl before walking away.  

Without thinking, Naya finally read the writing on the paper. Written on the paper was an order asking her to walk several tens of meters to the west. Not wanting to be curious, Naya followed the order. She walked slowly along the beach according to the instructions on the paper.  

Until finally her eyes found a man standing with his back to him. Without asking, Naya knew who the man was, it was very clear from his body shape. "Arka."  

Arka, the man turned his body around. With his hand carrying a bunch of flowers, Arka walked over to Naya. Right after the man stood in front of Naya, the sound of fireworks exploding was heard. Naya was shocked when she saw fireworks suddenly being lit right behind Arka's body.  

“Arka, what is this?"  

Not answering Naya's question, Arka sat kneeling in front of Naya's feet. It really surprised Naya. Naya had asked Arka to stand up again, but the man was reluctant to stand up.  

“Naya, I'm sorry. Sorry if I've hurt you. Sorry for keeping you quiet for the past few days. Naya, we've been in a relationship for quite a long time. I don't want to just bind you as my fiancé, I want to tie you to a marriage bond. Nayena Lim, Will you marry me?"  

Without realizing it, Naya's tears just fell. The girl never thought that Arka would do this to her. Without waiting for an answer from Naya, Arka grabbed Naya's left hand, intending to put a ring on the girl's ring finger. 

“No!" Naya exclaimed as she withdrew her hand and stepped back.  

Several of Naya's friends who had been watching the scene were shocked by what Naya had just done. Even Arka immediately stood up when he heard the word -no- come from Naya's lips.

“I don't want to marry a man like you!! I don't want to marry an unfaithful man like you!"  

"Naya, what did you say?"  

With tears still dripping, Naya remembered Arka and Jolie's meeting again. The girl also remembered when Arka said that Jolie was an acquaintance of hers.   

“You said that if Jolie is your acquaintance, you must be related to her, right? I don't want to continue our relationship when you have betrayed me!"  

“Nay, you misunderstand. I don't know or even have any relationship with Jolie."  

“I don't believe it! If you don't know her, how could you meet her? You even told me yourself that Jolie is your acquaintance!"  

Arka was seen stepping forward towards Naya, the man slowly tried to hold Naya's hand, but Naya seemed reluctant to touch him. This was proven when the girl pulled her hand from Arka's grasp.  

“Please listen to me first, I don't know Jolie at all. I'll tell you everything. Jolie and I met by accident. At that time I was going to join you for breakfast but suddenly I saw Jolie almost got pickpocketed. I helped her and then got to know her. I even never met her again after that. As for why I said Jolie was my acquaintance, I did it all to make you jealous. I wanted revenge because you made me jealous by hugging Juna at Juna's wedding."  

“You saw it?" Naya asked in surprise. The girl didn't know that Arka saw her while hugging Juna.   

Arka nodded "Do you remember when I acted strangely on the beach that night? It was all because I was jealous! I also deliberately avoided you so that you would be jealous. I want you to feel what I always feel when I see you with Juna."  

“Then yesterday? I saw you go to the mini bar. Why did you go there?"  

“I want to meet my friend. I plan to work together to invest there. If you don't believe me, just ask Jihan."  

“Jihan?"  

Hearing Jihan's name mentioned, Naya immediately looked around looking for her friend. Until finally his eyes found Jihan walking towards him, smiling awkwardly.  

"Jihan, so you know everything?"  

“Hehe, sorry, Nay. I deliberately kept everything a secret because of Arka's orders. I knew everything when I entered the mini bar that time hehe."  

“You believe it, right? Nay, believe it's only you that I love. You know all this time how I love you, right? I can't possibly insult you. So, what's your answer? Will you marry me?" 

Without waiting long, Naya immediately nodded. The girl nodded accepting the proposal from her fiance "Yes, I will."  

Right at that moment, Arka immediately pulled Naya's body into his arms. The man was very happy because Naya accepted his proposal.  

"Congratulations Naya! We're happy too!" said Sina who came with Yuna and Dahya. 

Naya's five friends, including Juna, looked very happy to see Naya and Arka finally getting along well.   

It was all their plan, they deliberately forced Arka to share all his misunderstandings with Naya so that Naya wouldn't be sad for too long. Luckily, Arka wanted to, so they were only in charge of arranging all the surprises.  

“Soon Naya will catch up with Juna and Yuna. Ah, I really want to have a boyfriend and get married," said Sina while looking at Arka and Naya who had just let go of their hug.  

“So change your slow habits first. No man will want a slow girl like you," joked Jihan jokingly.  

"Tsk, that's what makes me funny!"  

“Never mind, don't argue. We'd better celebrate Naya and Arka's happy day by eating together! Think of it as a farewell before you return to Jakarta tomorrow," said Juna.  

Arka nodded in response to Juna's suggestion.  "Yes, tonight we have an all-you-can-eat dinner. Don't worry, I'll treat you," he said, successfully making Naya's friends scream happily. 

Jihan quickly grabbed Naya's hand, took her to a special seafood restaurant near the beach with Yuna, Dahya and Sina. Juna, who had wanted to follow, was immediately detained by Arka.

“Juna, thank you. Thanks to you, my relationship with Naya has improved again." 

Juna was seen smiling in response to Arka's words, "You're welcome. I'm happy to see you all well again. I'm waiting for news of your wedding. You guys should invite me!" 

“That's for sure. Come on, let's follow them," replied Arka, putting his arm around Juna's shoulder, inviting the man to follow Naya and the others who had arrived at the place to eat.
