Chapter 43

"Getting married? Next month?"  

Both Arka's parents and Naya's mother looked surprised when they heard Arka say that he and Naya wanted to get married next month.  

Last night, after discussing it together, they finally decided to get married next month. Therefore, Naya immediately contacted her mother and asked her to come home to discuss this problem with Arka's parents.  

"Arka, you didn't do anything illegal to Naya, right?" asked Arka's father. The middle-aged man thought that maybe his son had done something forbidden to Naya, that's why Arka suddenly wanted to marry Naya.  

Naya's mother, who happened to be sitting next to Arka's mother, was quite surprised by Arka's father's question. The middle-aged woman even looked directly at Naya while asking for an explanation as to whether what Arka's father said was true or not. 

Arka and Naya panicked and shook their heads. Even though they often live in the same apartment, they never do that.  "No Dad, it's impossible for Naya and I to do this before we officially become husband and wife. I just want to take my relationship with Naya more seriously. After all, we've been engaged for quite some time," replied Arka.  

A sigh of relief could be heard coming from the mouths of Naya and Arka's mothers. The two middle-aged women were relieved because their fears were not true.   

“I think Arka has a point. Besides, wouldn't it cause slander if they often sleep together in the apartment but are not yet husband and wife? After all, the two of them are already stable in their relationship. What do you think, in-laws?" Arka's mother asked Naya's mother. 

Naya's mother nodded in agreement, as long as Naya wanted to, she would support it. For him, the most important thing is Naya's happiness.   

“I agree. Whatever your decision, mommy will agree and support it."  

Arka and Naya were seen smiling happily when they heard that their two mothers agreed to their wedding plans. Now Arka's father is the only one who hasn't decided whether he agrees or not.   

“What about daddy??"   

“Daddy agrees too. Tomorrow I will contact our family's regular wedding organizer. Daddy can't wait to see you get married and have children."  

“Thank you, Dad, Mom. thank you too for approving my relationship with Naya."  

"Mommy also thanks you because Arka is willing to accept Naya as she is. I hope Arka can take good care of Naya. Naya is my only child." 

“Mom, don't worry, I will definitely look after, cherish and love Naya."

 "Jihan!"  

Jihan, who was eating her lunch, was immediately shocked when he heard Sina and Dahya screaming. The two people suddenly came to his boarding house and startled him. Luckily Jihan wasn't eating something with hot sauce, otherwise the hot sauce might have been splashed on his face.  

With an annoyed look, Jihan looked at his two friends. "Can you knock on the door first when you come?!"  

“No," replied Sina while taking the snacks that were on Jihan's dining table.  

Without feeling the slightest guilt, Sina and Dahya ate Jihan's snacks. "Oh yeah, have you told that Naya?" Dahya asked.  

“What?"  

“Next month dhe wants to marry Arka."  

CRAT!!


"JIHAN!!!"  

Jihan just smiled awkwardly when he accidentally splashed his drink right in Sina and Dahya's faces. Yes, don't blame Jihan, she spontaneously did that because she was surprised.  

“Hehe, sorry. Are you serious? Why didn't Naya tell me?"  While mumbling, Sina and Dahya cleaned their faces with tissues.   

“How do we know, you just check your cellphone!"  

After hearing that, Jihan immediately checked his cellphone. It turned out that his cell phone was dead, so he didn't know that Naya was going to marry Arka.

“Why all of a sudden? Could it be that they already..." 

“Don't be careless! Naya said earlier that Arka just wanted to take their relationship to a serious level. Never mind, we should go to Naya's house now. We have to interrogate her."

"NAYA!!"  

Again, Sina and Dahya's screams boomed in Naya's house. Jihan, who saw his two friends screaming while running into Naya's house, could only shake his head.  

“Good Afternoon, auntie. Sorry to disturb you," said Jihan to Naya's mother who happened to be in the living room.  

“Oh, you guys have come. Want to look for Naya? Just go straight to her room, she's in her room."  

Jihan nodded before then walking to Naya's room with Sina and Dahya. As soon as they arrived at Naya's room, they saw Naya who seemed busy choosing several pieces of paper like invitations. Quickly the three of them immediately approached her.

“So it's true that you want to marry Arka next month?" Jihan asked reading one of the examples of invitation cards.  

Naya looked surprised to see the arrival of her three friends. The girl was too focused on her activities that she didn't hear Sina and Dahya's screams earlier.  

“You guys came? Jihan, where have you been? I've been contacting you for a while but it's not active."  

“Hehe sorry Nay, my cellphone is dead. So it's true that you want to get married next month?"  

Smiling, Naya nodded "Yes. Oh, by chance you guys came, please help me choose which invitation is good. I'm confused about which one to choose. Arka said it's up to me. My mother said they were all good."  

“Indeed, all of them are good. But this sky blue one seems better. It looks simple, the color is not too flashy," said Jihan while taking a sample invitation card.  

Naya nodded in agreement with Jihan's suggestion. Since earlier the girl also liked the invitation, but she was still confused.   

“Okay, I'll just choose this one." 

“Btw have you told Juna and Yuna? You will invite them right?”  

“Of course. But I'm confused about inviting them using an invitation card or just by telephone."  

“You should make 1 P*F invitation for them."

"Okay, I'll ask Arka to make it later."  

Since earlier, when Naya and Jihan were chatting about invitation cards, Sina and Dahya had been engrossed in Naya's laptop and playing drama films.  

"Nay. If I may ask, why did you decide to get married suddenly? Hmmm, you didn't..." Jihan seemed to be hanging on his words. The girl was reluctant to say what she wanted to say to Naya.  

Naya, who already understood what Jihan wanted to ask, immediately shook her head, "I couldn't have gotten pregnant, Jihan. I just feel that Arka and I have been in a relationship for quite some time and are engaged. It's time for our relationship to be taken to a more serious level."  

“Ahh, that's good then. I'm just worried if you go first hehe... Well, if you need help preparing everything, just tell me and I'll help."  

“Okay! You are my best friend."   

“Just Jihan? Are we not?" said Sina and Dahya.  Naya smiled looking at the cute faces of her two friends. 

“Of course, you are also my best friends."
