Chapter 46

The long-awaited day finally arrived tomorrow. Today is Arka and Naya's last day of seclusion before they say their vows tomorrow. Not seeing Naya for 3 days has made Arka very frustrated. The man seemed to miss his wife-to-be so much that several times he intended to go to Naya secretly but his intention had to be caught by his mother.

"Arka! How many times do I have to tell you, be patient. Tomorrow you will also meet Naya. Why are you so hard to tell?" her mother was angry at Arka who was again caught wanting to leave the house to meet Naya.

The father who was also there just shook his head at his son's behavior. Arka's own father did not join in scolding Arka because the man knew and had felt what it was like to endure longing. Before marrying Arka's mother, Arka's father also underwent a period of seclusion. But back then he had to endure 1 week of not seeing his wife.

"Mom, why can't we just meet? After all, this is no longer an ancient era that has to be secluded!"

"Huss, don't talk carelessly. This is called tradition. Naya's family still upholds that tradition, you have to respect it by following it."

A sigh escaped Arka's mouth. The man roughly leaned his body on the sofa. Waiting less than a day seemed so long. The man had missed Naya so much. Not even a video call or phone call was allowed.

"You should read or watch how to be a good husband so that your household with Naya will last."

"Why should study? we just only have to live together, right? I'll work and Naya will be at home taking care of me and our children. I already know without studying."

A magazine book that had been in Arka's mother's hand instantly moved to the top of Arka's head. The mother, who was already annoyed with her son, hit him lightly on the head with the magazine she had been reading.

"Talk carelessly. Do you think married life is that simple? There are many responsibilities that you have to take on later. Oh my gosh, I didn't expect your mind to be this short. Dad, shouldn't this marriage be postponed first? I'm not sure this child can live his household life later."

Hearing that his mother wanted to postpone his wedding with Naya, Arka immediately protested. The man didn't agree that his marriage to Naya should be postponed, he had been waiting for this moment for a very long time so he wouldn't let the event be postponed. "Mom, why are you talking like that? What's wrong with what I said earlier?" Arka asked with annoyance.

"You asked what was wrong with what you said earlier? Oh my gosh Arka, your thinking about married life is very short. Marital life is not just like what you said earlier. Not only do you have a lot of responsibilities to fulfill, but you also have to take care of and guide Naya as your wife. You also have to fulfill all the needs of Naya and your children."

"I know about that too, Mom."

"Never mind, why argue. Arka, what your mother said is true. Married life is not just living together. There are so many responsibilities that you have to carry. After you get married, you have to work for your father's company. You don't want to feed your wife and children with rocks, do you? You must be able to provide enough financially for your wife and children."

"Okay dad. Mom I'm sorry if what Arka said was wrong. Arka will learn to be a good husband for Naya later."

Not much different from Arka, Naya actually felt the same way. The girl also missed Arka very much and wanted to meet him, but what could she do, she couldn't meet Arka until her wedding day arrived. She was currently in her room with Yuna and her three best friends. Tonight, her four best friends would stay at her house as a sign of the last time they could stay together. 

Since earlier, Naya had not stopped asking Yuna how to be a good wife. However, among the four of them, only Yuna was married and living a married life. There was so much advice that Yuna gave Naya. It wasn't that Yuna wanted to act smart or lecture, the woman just told her what she did or went through while being a wife. 

"Yuna, is it true that being a wife is a difficult task?" asked Naya. 

Yuna quickly shook her head, the woman said that the task of a wife is not that hard. The hardest thing about being a wife is when one day she becomes a mother. Not only is she required to be able to take care of her husband, she also has to be able to take care of her children. 

 "Speaking of children, Yuna, have you conceived?" Dahya asked.

The question that Dahya had just asked was enough to shock Yuna and also embarrass her. The woman seemed silent without answering Dahya's question. Yuna's attitude certainly aroused the suspicion of her four friends. Jihan who was sitting next to Yuna suddenly touched Yuna's stomach and asked "Yuna, could it be that you're pregnant?" Jihan's question managed to make Naya, Dahya and Sina immediately turn to her and Yuna.

With a shy smile, Yuna nodded. Of course, that made her four friends immediately scream. They all felt very happy because it turned out that without them knowing Yuna was pregnant.

"Yuna, are you serious? How long has it been? Why didn't you tell us?" Naya asked enthusiastically.

"Hehe sorry, it's been two weeks. Before leaving here, Juna and I checked it."

"Wow Yuna, congratulations! We are happy to hear that. I can't wait to see your child born later."

 "Hehe yes thank you, I also can't wait to see Naya and Arka get married and have children later," said Yuna. 

Because she was too happy, Jihan immediately hugged Yuna followed by Naya, Dahya and Sina. The four of them were really happy to know the news of Yuna's pregnancy. "Congratulations again, Yuna! I never thought I would be an aunt soon hehe. I can't wait for it to be born," said Jihan. 

"I can't wait either!! Ahh it must be so cute to have a child! Yuna, after giving birth, come here often. I want to play with your child," said Sina. The girl looked so happy to know that she would have a nephew. 

"You guys are the ones who came to Bali. I can't possibly take my child on a long trip." 

"Ah so that's it. Ready then!"
