Chapter 39

Wearing all black clothes complete with hats, glasses and masks, Naya and her friends were following Arka. A few moments ago, Naya accidentally saw Arka leaving the hotel. Curious about where the man had gone, Naya immediately contacted her friends to come with her and follow Arka.

 

Currently they are in a rental car that Yuna has been preparing since this morning. During the journey following Arka, Naya couldn't stay still because for almost 10 minutes they were following Arka, Arka's car didn't stop.

 

"Where is he actually going?"

 

"You should just call him, ask where he is now," said Jihan.

 

Naya nodded, the girl immediately took her cell phone which was in her jacket pocket. Look for Arka's contact then press the call button. It took Naya quite a long time to wait for Arka to pick up the call. However, it seems that Arka didn't answer his call again.

 

"Not picking up!! Tsk, annoying! Driver, please be faster, if necessary, just hit the car from behind!" Naya shouted irritably, making her four friends immediately look at her in surprise.

 

Jihan, who was sitting right next to her, immediately threw a punch at Naya's hand, "You want to die? If you want to die alone!" She scolded.

 

"That's it, Nay. Don't think anything wrong, maybe Arka was focused on driving so he couldn't answer your call," said Yuna. 

 

Yuna was lucky to come along, because she was the only one who was the wisest. Even though Jihan is also wise, it's just that sometimes the girl is also provoked by Naya's emotions.

 

Some time after the small argument, Arka's car which they were following stopped at a mini bar. You could see Arka getting out of his rental car alone and walking into the mini bar. 

 

Naya quickly followed by her friends and immediately went downstairs to follow Arka.

 

"Sorry, you can't come in," said one of the guards outside the mini bar.

 

"So what? This is a public place."

 

"You are still underage. If you want to enter, you must be at least 20 years old."

 

Naya and her friends were seen taking a deep breath. They would only turn 20 in a few months, so none of them could enter.

 

"I'm 20 years old, sir. It's okay for less than 1 week, right? Look at my ID card," said Jihan. The girl took out her ID card from her bag then showed it to the guard.

 

The guard was seen whispering with his friend, discussing whether Jihan could enter or not. After waiting quite a long time, Jihan was finally allowed to enter.

 

"Don't worry, Nay. I'll watch over Arka for you," said Jihan before entering the mini bar.

 

While waiting for Jihan, Naya and the others decided to return to the car. The weather this afternoon is quite hot, it's better to wait in the car than the heat outside.

 

After successfully entering the mini bar, Jihan was seen looking around looking for Arka. The girl frowned slightly in confusion, as far as she knew, the bar must be busy with the sound of music and people dancing, but why does it look so quiet here? In fact, it was very quiet, there were only a few cleaning staff. 

 

Until he was busy looking for Arka's whereabouts, Jihan was surprised by the figure of the man who suddenly stood behind him.

 

"Find me?" Arka asked, which immediately made Jihan turn around.

 

Actually, Arka had known for a long time that he was being followed by Naya and her friends. The man also deliberately didn't answer Naya's call when he called her earlier.

 

"Why follow me?" 

 

"Hehe, why are you here?"

 

"Naya told you to follow me? Jeez Jihan, this isn't your place. You'd better go back to Naya and tell her not to follow me anymore."

 

Hearing Arka ask him to tell Naya not to follow him made Jihan immediately annoyed. How could he not be annoyed, his best friend was almost to death jealous because of Arka but Arka's attitude was exactly like that.

 

"Yes, I was told by Naya to follow you. Arka, Naya is jealous of you! She's afraid you're related to that woman named Jolie, that's why she asked for our help to find out who Jolie is and follow you."

 

"I don't have any relationship with Jolie. In fact, I only just met her yesterday because I accidentally helped her when she almost got pickpocketed."

 

"Then why did you tell Naya that Jolie was your acquaintance? Naya also said your attitude was strange, you seemed to be avoiding her. Arka, as Naya's friend I will not remain silent if you hurt Naya!!" shouted Jihan angrily. 

 

Even though the girl used to be afraid of Arka, now she will be the first to beat Arka if Arka dares to hurt Naya.

 

A long sigh came out of Arka's mouth, it seemed like he couldn't hide everything from Jihan. 

 

"Okay I'll tell you everything."

In the car, Naya couldn't stop babbling because Jihan didn't come back. The girl was very curious about what Arka was doing in the bar, but until now Jihan, who was in charge of entering the bar, had not returned.

 

"Where's Jihan? Why is it taking so long!"

 

"There she is!" Dahya shouted when she saw Jihan come out of the bar and walk towards the car.

 

Right after Jihan got into the car, Naya immediately asked several questions. How did Jihan start meeting Arka? If yes, what is Arka doing inside? And did Arja meet Jolie?

 

"Answer Jihan, you met Arka, right?!"

 

"Sorry Nay, I couldn't find Arka."

 

"What?!! Then what are you doing for so long?" said Sina asked.

 

"Yes, looking for Arka. Do you think it's easy to find someone in the middle of a crowd of people dancing?"

 

"So you didn't get any information, right?"

 

With a tired face, Jihan nodded. Actually, Jihan got a lot of information, but the girl decided not to tell Naya and the others. He did all this on Arka's orders. The girl was forced to lie so that Naya wouldn't get suspicious.

"So you deliberately made Naya jealous by pretending to be close to Jolie?"

 

Arka nodded, the man had just told Jihan all his plans. Arka thought Jihan was a trustworthy person, so he told him everything.

 

"I never even met Jolie again. I did this to make Naya jealous."

 

"But why? Don't you feel sorry for Naya? She even cried when she told me that Jolie was your acquaintance."

 

Arka looked silent for a moment before the man explained the reason why he deliberately made Naya jealous. Arka said that he didn't like it and was jealous when he saw Naya hugging Juna at Juna's wedding at that time. Even though the hug was just an ordinary hug, he still didn't like it.

 

"Then why did you come here? You want to meet Jolie?"

 

Arka shook his head "No, did you see Jolie here? I came here to meet my male friend. I plan to invest capital in this bar so I want to meet my friend to discuss it."

 

Jihan nodded in understanding. The girl breathed a little sigh of relief because Arka never betrayed Naya.

 

"Jihan, I've told you everything. I hope you will keep this a secret. Until I will tell Naya everything myself."

 

"Okay, I'll keep your secret. But just watch out if you dare to hurt Naya!"
