Chapter 96

Emily’s body suddenly became heated. Her palms were sweaty, and her breath became uneven.

“A maid is a maid, like I said. Her duty is to be at my beck and call at all times, to tend to my needs and to answer to me. I don’t see any reason why I would have an affair with my maid when I have my beautiful wife right here with me”, Richard explained and pulled Barbara closer to his chest.

Emily’s heart dropped. She gasped and closed her mouth to avoid been heard by anyone.
