Chapter 101

Emily woke to the first rays of sunshine that pierced into her room through an opening in her window.

She twirled and ruffled the blanket, groaning slightly and wishing that it wasn’t morning already.

Her hand met something laying beside her, and immediately she jerked up in fright.

“What the hell!” She muttered, realizing that Richard was the one laying next to you.

Richard turned slightly and groggily opened his eyes. He smiled when he caught sight of her face, but his smiles were short-lived because Emily didn’t reciprocate.

A massive scowl laid on her face as she stood up from the bed to start the preparations for her day’s job.

“What is it?” Richard asked, sitting up and rubbing his eyes that were still quite blurry.

Emily kept mute as she wore her pants and strolled towards the window. She peeked through the window, obviously looking around to confirm that no one was in sight.
