Richard picked out quite a number of things from the female section and finally, Emily nodded her head to indicate that it was okay.

He sighed in relief and let out a calm smile, hurriedly making his way out of the mall.

“You should get some flowers too and even, scented candles”, Emily suggested and started strolling towards the stall for that.

Richard rushed towards her and held her firmly. He pinned her to the wall until his eyes were digging into hers.

“You really fancy how much insult I get from Barbara, right?” He barked angrily. “The last time I did that, she called it a waste of time. And then, she smashed an egg on my head as a thank you for what I had done”.

Emily closed her eyes as his breath fell directly to her face. She opened them after a while and shifted her eyes to the left.
