Barbara let out a wicked smile when she realized that Richard was now aware of her presence.

“What the hell are you doing there and why are you with Mike’s phone?” Richard screamed on top of his voice, startling Emily, who laid on the bed.

Barbara was boiling in rage now, with her eyes bloodshot and her fists clenched furiously.

“I’m Barbara. I can be crazy and you know that!” Barbara said without a glint of remorse in her voice.

She raised the knife up and once Richard got sight of it, he gasped in shock.

“What are you doing in Mike’s office with a knife?” Richard asked, with fear gripping him.

“Because that was the way for me to achieve what I just did. You didn’t tell me where you went to with that maid, and you disconnected me from reaching you via calls or text”, Barbara replied as she gritted her teeth and raised her brows.

“Oh my God”, Richard whispered and staggered slightly, almost losing his balance in the process.
