Chapter 86

Emily suddenly melted away the moment Richard’s lip fell on hers.

Suddenly, she realized that she was in something greater than her understanding.

“Eat your meal and please, let’s not talk about this for now”, Richard said calmly and quickly removed his gaze from her.

Emily had no choice and with a trembling hands, she collected the meal tray from the flight attendant.

Eating slowly, she gazed at Richard, who didn’t return his eyes to her. He was clearly lost and somewhat disturbed by something.

They got back to the apartment around midnight the next day, and without uttering a word to each other, they went their several ways.
