Chapter 264

This was the most heated day of Emily’s life. After her arguments with Barbara, she resolved to getting ready for the conference.

She got into her room and stared at her closet. She had something great to wear and this was thanks to the number of times she went on dates with Richard, and he got her new dresses.

She wore a mini red gown, packed her hair up in a ponytail and applied a nude lipstick evenly around her lips.

Her heart thumped every second, and she eased it by closing her eyes and assuring herself that everything would be okay.

“Ma’am. The Boss said that I should inform you that the car is ready”, the nanny informed Emily, who nodded her head in understanding.
