“Are you trying to tell us that you would be getting married to her?” A reporter asked and narrowed her eyes towards Emily who quickly lowered her gaze to the floor.

Richard gulped down hard as he prepared to take the question.

“Yes! She would be my wife once I get my divorce with Barbara”, he replied with a smile, to show that he was certain and excited about his decision.

The hall went noisy again as another lady stretched out the microphone towards him.

“Isn’t she the maid who was accused of wanting to wreck your home?” The lady asked and Richard turned mute immediately.

He took slow breaths as he thought of the perfect answer to give.

“The only person I can get married to is someone with moral standards and a home wrecker is not part of it. I got attracted to Emily and that was the case alone!” Richard replied and smiled again.
