Chapter 103

Barbara picked up her phone and gazed at it intently.

She was staring at the weirdest message she had seen in a long time. And what worsened it was the fact that it came from Richard.

“Give me a minute”, she said to her lover, whose hands were moving down her skirt and trying to find a way through it.

He didn’t budge.

“I said, give me a minute!” Barbara ordered and stood up, pushing him aside and wandering through the door.

The man let out a scoff and nodded his head in understanding. Barbara was only a means through which he made cool money. It didn’t matter that she was married, his only concern what the benefits they gained from each other.

“A surprise for me?” Barbara asked on the call the moment Richard picked up.

“What is it?”

Richard chuckled from the other end of the call.

“You will find out, only if you come back now”, Richard said softly, glaring at Emily who nudging him to keep up with the act.

The call beeped and came to end, but the large scowl on Richard’s face remained
