Chapter 95

Emily was becoming tired and bored with the meeting they were having. She hissed for the hundredth time and was about to head back to the kitchen when she heard the next question.

“We also heard that you went on the trip with your maid”, the one journalist who didn’t seem to believe anything they had said suddenly asked, staring at Barbara and back at Richard.

Richard turned to Barbara immediately, silently wondering how someone he called his wife could be so stupid and silly.

“Wow!” Richard mouthed and took in a deep breath, getting ready for another round of fabricated acts.

“Just like you called it; a maid. I hope you understand the meaning of a maid?” Richard threw the question back at the journalist who had asked.
