Chapter Forty-Six

I was in the room reading a book I found in the library a few days ago, stretching out my body on the bed. This is the only thing I can do these days, eat, sleep, and eat again, except for some time when I force myself out of bed to take a stroll.

Instead of taking a walk today, I opted to read. I know I have the option of going out, but who needs ten bodyguards just to go pick up something from the mall? Even a president doesn't take that many guards.

I flipped the next page of the book casually when my phone rang. I turned to see It was Hayden calling, I wanted to ignore it at first.

He probably was just calling to see if his leach on my neck is tight enough or if it needs tightening.

The phone rang again, and I slammed the book shut on the bed and picked it up.

"Yeah, I'm still in the house rotting away" I spoke to the receiver the minute I accepted the call.

"Drama much, that is not why am calling you"
