HAYDEN'S POV

I had a meeting with some of our stakeholders this afternoon. I hurried up as I dressed up to leave the house. Kay was fast asleep, and I didn't want to wake her up.

Lately, she has been having a difficult time with the pregnancy and I intend to make things as easy as possible.

I raided one of their makeshift bases, and I didn't find out much from there, but my guys are onto something big; it's only a matter of time before it blows up.

I was hurrying out of the house that morning when I noticed Kay's mom was on the phone talking to whomever.

I wasn't paying attention to what she was saying until she said, I can't wait to have him fuck her silly.

Thank goodness Lycans have super-hearing abilities.

I stood there wondering what the fuck I just heard, but what made me uncomfortable was when Kay's dad was in the same room talking to a child he kept referring to as his baby.

"My Prince, we need to leave now if we are to meet up," Ben said to me, waking me up to reality.
