“We can’t strike yet, Edward. Not like this!” I dismissed the idea.

Striking this night without a tangible plan will not only ruin things but destroy completely the foundation of the attack we are playing. I know he has no choice than to voice out his mind knowing Katherine might be in some trouble with goddamn Xavier but, if we don’t want to lose both Katherine and my child, we have to take our time and plan things out first before striking.

We are setting out to destroy Xavier’s pack alone. One slip and it might cost us my pack too.

“Then what about Katherine? Sorry to say hybrid, but only God knows what they are doing to her there.” He sighed, plumping back on his seat adjacent from mine.

“He’s going to keep her alive, nevertheless. I can still feel her alive.”

“How?” He leaned back, and asked with interest.

I paused. “Because we might or might not be mates?”

“What?” I can see how much he’s holding in his reaction. Right, she’s my mate. I’ve been trying to lie otherwise
