A Trapped Plan For Celestine

The dead of the night had captured every human’s soul, its darkness had taken most humans’ brains to take some good sleep.

In other side of the Sapphire Island Kingdom, inside the most expensive and luxurious accommodating place for some important guests taking rest, King Dragon couldn’t sleep at all. In his balcony, he was enjoying his glass of wine and his mind was exploring the reason.

‘That tiny cat had me really with her foolish game. Did she try to fool me? For what? Is it because of that young man? Or is it because she wanted to make a fun at me since she knew that I have desires, temptation for her?’

He sipped his wine and then, shaking the glass.

‘Jacques. A talented young boy in music…I saw him was kissing her forehead at the harbor.’

‘She is so cute, rebellious and challenge me to defeat her and taste her after that, then throwing her like a piece of meat to the other wolves. I should be the first one to taste her body.’

‘What made her so different from any other women, she never allow me to make her my date. She always refuses me while the other women, they preferably agree with my love offering and taste a piece of luxurious life that I will give to them as the compensation of our trade. I use their bodies for fun and passion and they will get some gifts and everything they want from my wealth. It’s fair and that’s life should be operated.’

He sighed and grinned at his being fooled by a greeny princess.

‘She should play a games, trying to tell me not everything I want I can buy…damn, she really forgets who I am. I have the strongest grips in this entire empire, my claws have gripped every inch of this kingdom land. Nothing that I don’t know, nothing that I couldn’t control…and okay, I am in. You really damn rabbit that I want to crush with my hands. You can run, Celestine but believe me I could ruin your life much better than you did this time.’

He grinned in a mischievous look as the look of a wolf in waiting for eating an innocent lamb. Tasting it piece by piece and little by little…

‘I am King Dragon. I could trace you wherever you go and I could see whatever you do and whoever you want to spend a day with, Celestine. If I can’t be with you, so you can’t be with any other men. Let’s see who will be the loser of those games.’

He sipped again his wine, from the balcony he could see the horizon starting reddish as the dawn would peek up and a morning started to reappear again.

Oliver gulped and stopped spreading the butter on his bread after hearing what King Dragon said. They were at an expensive cottage, enjoying their breakfast.

King Dragon grinned.

“Just think what I said, Prince Oliver. How about if what Princess Celestine carrying inside is infectious. It can spread to all over people in this kingdom.”

He sipped his tea after stirring it.

“I couldn’t imagine it. All the beautiful virgins, women are changing into blue and…” He shuddered with an expression of disgusting.

“There will be no love again should be spreading.” He swayed his knife on the air to emphasize his sentence.

He paused and looked at Oliver munching his bread with slow chews. The young man was staring at him cautiously.

“How about if yourself changing into blue? Imagine that!” King Dragon continued, spreading his bread with berries jam.

Oliver swallowed hard his chunk of bread in his mouth.

He shuddered a bit and King Dragon found the expression of acute fear from the young man’s face. He cleared his throat.

“I do hope it isn’t fatal disease what Princess Celestine is carrying.”

Oliver sipped his tea and wetted his lips.

“What should we do so? To prevent the spread of the disease? We need your wise advice, King Dragon.”

King Dragon sighed and looked out.

“In respect for the youth she has as a princess of this kingdom and I do regret about what happened last night. I really hurt my feeling, finding out the girl I should engage with, changing into a kind of blue creature.” He sipped again his tea and his eyes were filled with the mist of sadness.

“Despite what I have as a feeling, some strong emotional state to Princess Celestine, but we should be logical. We should stay away my emotional reasons for the rest of the benefits in this kingdom.” He wiped his nose. He rested his chin on a hand.

“I never believe that her life could be so tragic like that.” He uttered with lower voice and Oliver paid attention for every word coming out from his mouth.

‘He is King Dragon. His mouth is fire and fierce of wisdom that I should listen.’ Oliver chewed slowly his bite of bread. The butter had made his lips slippery like a wet icy street as he sipped his tea and wiped his mouth with serviette.

“There’s nothing else but we should send her away from the kingdom, isolated her because the gods cursed us all if we don’t do that.” King Dragon looked at Oliver behind his rim of tea cup as he was sipping it.

“You think Princess Celestine has been cursed?” Oliver furrowed his eyebrows, his face looked skeptical.

King Dragon shrugged.

“As I know, person who has unexplainable disease, they must be cursed for having it.”

Oliver heaved up his chest.

“I will ask my father to issue a command letter for her, sending her away from the kingdom this morning. I will myself deliver the letter to her palace.”

King Dragon moved his head as agreement. “Good. We must do it fast, we can’t let that disease spreading fast among those people.”

Oliver inhaled. “I do feel sorry for you, King Dragon. We never expected something unlucky happened to you in your engagement night.”

King Dragon sighed and grinned then. “ I did. But a gentleman couldn’t be so drawn emotionally for a little thing like that. The world is so unlimited…”

‘Let’s see Celestine who will be the winner for this first round…’ King Dragon smirked.
