The Rendezvous

The Voice of Nature…it was the first song going to play.

It began with sounding the song of birds from the violins and the flutes. The artificial fountain delivered bubbling water and all the attendants were nailed on their seat. Their soul began to be captured into an imaginary world.

Airing the room, the imaginations were drawn to small river downing the creek with the splashing water from bathing birds. Waiting for the next…

The playing sound of the harps then began to take another breathtaking session. It came like the whispers from the garden of angels.

Taking all the breaths from the audiences inside the kingdom’s hall.

King Dragon rose to get applauses as his song finished to play.

He sighed after faking a wide prideful smile. His eyes were scattering the room, looking for a woman’s figure in a red dress he bought.

He returned to his seat next to the hosted King and his Queen, rested his hand on the chin. They were taking seats on the highest row among the other audiences.

“Where’s the princess, King Othello?”

His eyes directed to King Othello, sitting next to him. He could see anxious smile from that King, three years older than him.

“Don’t worry. She’ll be here soon.” King Othello whispered to him. He pulled himself a bit away as he changed the direction of his gaze. He inhaled and returned to look at King Dragon who kept gazing him with suspicious mind. “You know, Princess Celestine is the only daughter of King Victor. She sometimes is so rebellious and stubborn, hard head like a pig, can’t be told like a horse.” King Othello continued, he giggled to melt the situation.

King Dragon still gazed at him. “I know about that. That’s why she looks attractive to my eyes, her untamed nature and wild attitude…she’s like a tigress of the woods,” he grinned. He glanced at two seats were still empty, being unoccupied.

The musical performance had run for a hour and half. All the audiences were making standing applauses but the sign of the princess as the host of the kingdom was barely seen.

King Dragon scoffed. He turned his head to King Othello. “Was she running away from the castle?”

His answer couldn’t be answered since many young noble women were standing in line, waiting for having moments to dance with him in the center of the hall.

The drinks were served, wines and bread.

“Please, King Dragon. Don’t let your charisma spills the temptations of those beautiful young woman offering to you.” King Othello signed his hand, asking for King Dragon to join the dancing celebration for him.

King Dragon smiled widely. “I know that the magnet of me can’t be resisted by many women. As long as the taste of wine is good, the party will start.” Confidently he stepped down the stairs to approach the crowd of beauty, youth and desire of love taste had offered.

The music started again as King Dragon began to dance with a young woman from the neighbors of the Sapphire Island Kingdom, the Kernelithium Kingdom. She was the sister of the young king from Kernelithium.

The party kept continuing inside the hall of the kingdom, adding with the giggling and laughters of men and women.

The sky was dark. The stars were sparkling as Jacques held his flute and stared at the sky.

He was waiting for Princess Celestine on the wooden bench at the park, outside the kingdom palace.

During his performance with the orchestra, he had been looking for her silhouette but she wasn’t there.

Jacques sighed. His wavy dark medium hair was played by the night breezes. He wrapped up his folded arms and hid his slender body inside the mantle.

“Jacques…” a female voice made him turning around. He saw a silhouette with a cloak was hiding behind the tree.

He ran to her. He knew it was Celestine.

“My love…” he wrapped his arms to the woman and shook her in his tight hug.

He widened eyes as he found the charming lovely princess had turned into blue.

“What is happening?”

Celestine was giggling and grabbing Jacques on his neck with gentle pull. Moving the man closer to her and she was ready to teach him what she had experienced.

“What are you doing?” Anxious voice and warmth of Jacques’s breath touched the cheeks of Celestine.

“Close your eyes, Jacques.” She whispered and caressed the skin of the young man who had driven her crazy and touched the beauty of what people said the most vulnerable and dangerous emotion a human had.

Jacques obeyed what Celestine told him.

Celestine inhaled deeply and slowly closed her eyelids.

The night was silent but the sounds of pondering heartbeats of the two of them flew into the air.

Celestine squeezed the lips of Jacques, she felt his tenderness of those thin lips. Their breaths were halted as the sensation captured their each soul…so sensuous…unexplainable good feeling…deadly thrilled emotional…

Celestine pulled her lips away.

Jacques was panting just like her but his hands were holding her waist so tightly.

He beamed at her.

Celestine turned her head down as she felt the heat attacking her cheeks, leaving them flushed.

Jacques closed his lips into Celestine’s ear. “It was great, my love…” his breath blew some hair strands of Celestine and made her hiding her flushed face into Jacques’ broad chest.

She had unspoken feeling for him as Jacques wrapped his arms on her…with the warmth of first love.
