Kian's POV

It was clear as daylight that I wasn't going to take William's plan. Even though I was extraordinarily tempted to do as he said, my mind kept taking me back to that time I had done something so similar and I got punished so badly. I knew we still hadn't recovered from it. I didn't want that happening to us us a pack again.

And so this time around, I was taking it to the Alpha cabinet as I always should have, a long time ago. I needed to try a little bit of luck, however I could.

“You’re in charge while I’m gone, make sure you alert me as soon as you find any useful information about Lessia’s whereabouts, okay?” I said to William, as I made my way to the car.
