Kian’s POV

The time was heading to 6 o'clock. I was waiting patiently for it in the my office, my gaze dancing between my computer and the wall clock, looking for which to rest my stare on.

William sauntered into my office a while later, giving me a questioning look.

“You always say your mind, whether I am in support of it or not. So if you have something to say to me, go ahead and say it.” I scoffed.

“Why don’t you just stage a kidnap the “way Maddox did?”

“Because I’m not him.” I retorted. “Besides I’m working on a better way to get Lessia back.”

“Like laundering all Maddox money to the rogues? What if he returns the Favour? Our pack is already suffering from too many attacks. If our finance is attacked, our people will suffer a great deal.” He intoned.

“What do you want me to do, William? Every second she spends there makes my blood boil. Knowing that she’s with that sadistic bastard and I can’t do anything about it. He could literally be hitting her as we speak.” I ran my finger
