I went up to her room to see how she was doing after I supposedly ruined her last date with that unfortunate fool, Kian. The last time I saw her was at breakfast that morning. She had refused to speak to me, and I had returned the same energy. I thought she would be pleased and would instantly fall for me if I offered her as little as a mumble of an apology.

She had to see reasons with me. There was no way I would have been happy letting her go out with Kian. No one would be happy seeing their mate with another man.

However, Lessia’s situation and mine was complicated. She comes from a family where the females usually had two mates. Because of this, so many things have been said about her bloodline, but I guess the moon goddess had a reason for it. Cause even I couldn’t understand it, no matter how hard I tried.
