Selena's POV

It was four in the morning when I stepped off the train. The BloodMoon pack was completely asleep, and the train station was eerily quiet with only a handful of people around.

As I exited the station, I noticed a car parked along the roadside.

Loki was leaning against the car and greeted me with a respectful, "Ms..."

I only had a backpack with me, no other bags. I climbed into the car, and Loki drove straight to the hotel where Rufus was staying.

Once we arrived at the hotel, Loki handed me the room key and left.

I paused at the door, not rushing to enter. My delicate fingers clutched the thin key card, which felt as heavy as my destiny.

I could sense my wolf growing restless.

*Come on, Seli, just go in.* Meeka almost growled.

Ignoring Meeka, I took a deep breath, mentally preparing myself, and used the key card to unlock the door.

As the door swung open, the room was dimly lit, filled with a thick, unpleasant atmosphere and the strong smell of smoke.

Rufus's POVI was shocked to see Selena walk through the door earlier. I had stepped away from my own pack for just a day, hoping for a little peace. With my relatives around, it felt like everyone was eager to take on the role of my advisor, which is one of the reasons I don't like having them around. I let out a sigh as I shifted my eyes to the window, the sky was slightly brighter.I shifted my eyes from the window and to Selena who leaned in my arms.I lowered my head and kissed her cheek, "Aren't you sleepy?"Selena shook her head and looked at me with clear eyes.My mind moved, and i kissed the corner of her eye again, "Why did you suddenly come."She shrugged. "I’m not sure. Maybe it’s because you mentioned missing me. Or perhaps it’s Meeka; she seemed a bit restless and wanted to be here."Upon hearing her word, a warm wave of affection washed over me. "I really appreciate you coming."Selena smiled, her fingers playing with my collar. "Of course! But what made you come to B

I walked out of my office gate when I heard a loud growl behind me. I paused and turned around, spotting a brown wolf sprinting toward me. A low growl slipped from my lips. It was Meeka, and I could tell she was ready to defend me against whatever threat was coming. Suddenly, the wolf transformed back into a human. "Sorry, I run faster in my wolf form," the girl said, struggling to put on her clothes while facing away from me. "Do you remember me?" she asked as she turned around. "Angela?" I called, looking into her face making sure I wasn't mistaken. This was the first time I had seen her awake and on two legs. "You remember!" she said with a gentle smile. "Yeah. What are you doing here? In the Nightfall Pack?" Angela paused, smiling back at me. "He didn’t tell you? I was living with my relatives in the capital, but they moved back to Nightfall, and Rufus wouldn’t let me stay behind. Plus, see that tall green building over there?" Writer's POV Lord Nireus was standing on a high stage surrounded by the clamoring crowd. His remarkable position allowed him to have a clear view on everything on the open arena. The sound of weapons colliding sounded routinely from before him, and the sound of steel tearing steel was definitely more satisfying to Lord Nireus ears than any fine instrument could be. This is the biggest field in Reds tribe. In the field, there are just two men battling each another. One of them is tall, wearing dark covering, and his swordsmanship is exceptionally powerful. The less flashy fighter facing him had no elaborate armor, just a simple layer of rust-resistant fabric that matched the color of the ground. The only decoration was a bright lion's head emblazoned on his chest. His sword skills were also significantly stronger! Surprisingly, he was nearly a head shorter than the man across from him, yet he managed to overpower his opponent with sheer strength! As the duel started
