"My baby... Roo!"

Selena was crying nonstop, and since this was a first for them, Rufus was at a loss for what to do.

Is the baby already coming? Should i take her to the pack clinic by now?

Selena stood there, legs apart, as if she was hesitant to let anyone near her.

"Selly... Come here. Come here," Roo said softly, moving closer and wrapping his arms around her.

"Rufus...!"

"Lillian, go get the pack doctor!" Rufus shouted, and Lillian rushed out to find help.

Meanwhile, Selena continued to cry, tugging at Rufus's shirt, and suddenly, a sharp pain hit her like menstrual cramps, causing her to scream in agony.

"Argh!!!!"

She clutched Rufus's shirt tightly, her nails digging into his chest.

"Rufus! It hurts. Moon goddess, please...!"

Ignoring the pain she was causing him, Rufus quickly scooped her up, her weight not bothering him as he dashed into the room.

"This way, doctor."

Lillian returned with one of the pack doctors.

The doctor rushed in, ready to help.
