Issa's POV

As soon as I was out of Nireus' sight, I picked up my pace. Once I exited the big hall, I hurried to the horse stable.

I glanced back to ensure no one was tailing me before I approached one of the horses and released it from its stall.

"Let’s go..." I murmured as I mounted the horse.

This was the first time in years that I had stepped outside the Red clan's territory, or maybe even out of Nireus' cage.

Luckily, it was slightly bright. Maybe 2Am or 3AM.

I had nearly forgotten how stunning it was out here.

I gripped the reins tightly, racing past the trees and various clans.

Before I left the Red clan, I had cast a spell on every path I took. It would be tough for Nireus to track me down.

I looked up at the sky, catching a last glimpse of the stars as it slipped behind the clouds. The day was getting so bright,, and I was running out of time.
