CHAPTER 25

"THANK you for coming here, darling. You really do love me," malambing na sabi ni Zara at yumakap kay Terence pero nanatili siyang tuod sa kinatatayuan. Sinubukan pa siya nitong halikan sa labi pero iniwas niya ang kanyang mukha.

Tumikhim siya at hinawakan ito sa magkabilang balikat para bahagyang ilayo. Hindi naman nito nagustuhan ang ginawa niya kaya sumimangot ito at dabog na umupo sa sofa.

"I can't believe you still suspect that this isn't your baby," nagtatampo nitong saad.

"And I can't believe you still suspect me as the father," sarkastiko niyang sabi sabay iling.

"How many times do I have to tell you that you are the father! You're hurting my feelings! You know that I love you and you're the only man I slept with and no one else!"

Ngumisi siya ng mapakla. "If that's what you believe then go for it."

"You're stressing me out! This isn't good for me and your child! Our wedding is in three days, and whether you like it or not, you will be mine!"

"Your father told you that?" aniya
