"Orella, get out of here!" said the man, who was none other than his sister.
"What?" Orella widened her eyes. "No! I don't want to! I won't leave you, Juan!"
The older brother gently rubbed Orella's bleeding forehead after hitting her head on a rock. Orella looked up at her brother and saw his sad face. It was clear that Juan didn't want to lose her.
"Take care of yourself!" said Juan as he pushed his sister roughly until she slipped.
"Juan!" shouted Orella. "Why did you push me?"
Orella was about to approach, but her brother immediately said, "Stay there! Don't move!"
She saw the enemy who managed to get close. Orella also saw Juan, who was blocking them from approaching her. A tall, bulky man had Juan by the neck from behind. However, the older brother managed to poke his opponent in the ribs.
"Juan, just give up because tonight is the death of you and all Maldini descendants," said the man who had been wrapping his arms around Juan's neck.
Juan kicked the man, while the other man rushed him with a hard punch on his back. He fell to the muddy ground. He was about to get up while resting on his arms.
He screamed and then fought three people at once brutally. Finally, he managed to knock them down one by one with all the strength he had. Juan ran and approached Orella, whose face looked worried. He was panting while occasionally wiping his face, which was wet from the rain.
"Listen to me, Orella!" the man exclaimed. "Keep everything a secret, even to Dad! Do you understand?" Juan ordered firmly.
One of the enemies managed to get up and then punched Juan in the stomach from the side and kicked him until he fell to the ground.
"Juan!" screeched Orella.
"Go away, Orella! Don't mind me!" shouted Juan.
Orella shook her head. She didn't want to obey her brother's orders. So far, only Juan has been there for her and has protected her.
There was a gunshot along with the sound of thunder. A bullet pierced Juan's leg.
White smoke billowed, coming from a pistol held by the tall, black-clad man. He grinned briefly, then shot Juan's other leg again. Thick red blood flowed, carried away by the rainwater.
"Juan!" shouted Orella.
"Orella...," Juan choked out. His chest was tight as if oxygen was being sucked out of his lungs.
"Don't hurt my brother!" screamed Orella as she tried to get closer to Juan.
"Orella... don't come any closer ...." Juan was about to lift his body, but the man stepped on his head to kiss the ground.
Another bullet whizzed by and hit Juan in the back.
"Juan!" Orella screamed again.
However, it was useless. There was nothing Orella could do to help her brother. The man kicked Juan's body until it rolled over and almost fell on Orella. With all her might, Orella managed to hold her brother's body.
Orella hugged Juan, her whole body trembling. "Juan! Hang in there!"
"No, Orella... my time is short. You have to listen to me," Juan said in a weak voice. "Remember... you have to... survive... don't let anyone know...."
"Juan...," Orella called. "Please ...."
"Orella... you must endure... remember what I said."
After saying those words, Juan breathed his last. His head drooped to the side, and he was no longer moving.
"Juan!" shouted Orella, along with the sound of thunder.
"You too must die tonight," the tall man said as he put a gun to Orella's head. "Prepare to follow your brother."
Orella closed her eyes, the anger in her heart growing after her brother's death. She opened her eyes again and attacked the tall man who had pointed his firearm at her.
"You killed my brother so you should die too!" Orella said with anger inside her, and then she attacked the tall man again.
Another man attacked Orella with a piece of wood, but she dodged it. Orella grabbed the wood. She brutally beat the legs of the tall man for firing his bullets at her brother.
The tall man's screams of pain made four other men attack Orella, intending to finish her off. However, what they did was completely fruitless. Instead, Orella managed to paralyze them one by one until, finally, three men died from being hit by the wood in her hand. She was like a demon woman who wouldn't let go of the people who had hurt her.
"Demon woman, you're dead!" screamed a man as he fired his bullet and hit Orella's left hand.
Orella grinned, and she ran over to the man who had shot her. She moved quickly and beat the man unthinkingly. The man ended up dying with his head nearly crushed from the heavy wooden blows she had dealt him.
"It's your turn!" Orella said in a cold tone and smiled as she walked with the wood dragging up the street.
"Don't kill me... I'm sorry ...." The tall man pleaded to Orella while enduring the pain from his legs that had been broken by the woman who was approaching him.
"You're dead!" shouted Orella, slamming the wood in her hand at the tall man.
The tall man's moans of pain were heard, but it didn't stop Orella from beating the man until he breathed his last. She grinned again after killing the tall man, and she just stared at the corpse that was already covered in blood.
Orella threw down the wood in her hand. She turned her body around and walked over to the lifeless Juan. She sat down right next to her brother's body.
She didn't realize that there was still one enemy alive, and she hit her hard on the back with a piece of wood that she had thrown earlier. Orella fell into the puddle of water that had been mixed with blood.
Not so long ago, an SUV pulled up. Two men got out of the car and saw what had happened. A man in a white shirt saw Orella lying on the ground, and an enemy was still holding a piece of wood.
The man in the white shirt shot the man who had just hit Orella. After that, he approached Orella.
"It's bad luck that you were born into the Maldini family. Tonight you can die in peace," the man said in a flat tone and prepared to shoot Orella.
"I won't let you go...," Orella said after she managed to get a clear view of the man who was about to finish her off, and the man smirked.
"Juan ...." Orella, who had just woken up, screamed. She continued to scream hysterically, calling her brother's name. When she remembered the incident that night, she would go crazy and destroy everything near her. She almost hurt herself. Some people came into her room, and they held her tightly. "Let go of me! Don't block me! I want to find Juan!" Orella shouted as she tried to free herself from the grip of her father's guards. She kept struggling and trying to free herself. However, the harder she tried, the tighter the guards held her. "Miss Orella, calm down! Let Mr. Juan be at ease!" said a guard who could not bear to look at her. "You're lying! Juan, he's alive! Hurry up and help me look for him!" said Orella, who still thought that her brother was alive. "Orella Daria Maldini! Stop calling his names!" growled a middle-aged man who had just walked into the room. "This is all your fault! If you'd just come looking for us none of this would have happened, Dad!" Ore
"What's going on?" muttered Orella when she saw the commotion after she entered the party room. She approached the direction of the commotion because she heard the voice of someone she recognized. Orella stopped her steps once she had a clear view. Orella saw the woman in the yellow dress slap the woman in the white dress so hard. She was fed up with what was happening in front of her. Without thinking, she took a few steps forward and slapped the woman in yellow back twice as hard as the woman in white. "Orella, you!" screeched the woman in the yellow dress in an irritated tone. Without responding, Orella slapped the woman in the yellow dress again. She didn't care at all about everyone watching her. "I told you not to, Olivia Vedetta! So that you don't have to show your weakness to this pair of rotten humans!" Orella said in a cold tone to the woman in the white dress in front of her. "You crazy woman! What did you come here for? Do you want to ruin Mr. Ludovic's party?" i
"Did I hear wrong?" asked a man who had been in the room all along. However, he was only paying attention to the one in front of him. Orella looked in the direction of the man's voice, and the man approached her. She was shocked when she saw the man's face, and her blood boiled even more when he was near her. "Of course I want her. This woman must enter the Ludovic family. Nothing can stop me!" said the old man as he looked at the young man beside him. The young man again expressed his disagreement with what the older man, who was none other than his father, wanted. While they were arguing, Orella just stared at the man with mounting anger. She clenched her hands into fists to hold back her emotions so as not to cause any more trouble for her father or the Maldini family. "I'm willing to join the family, Ludovic," said Orella, surprising everyone in the room, including her father. "Honey, say it again! Did I hear you wrong?" Ilario asked his daughter. "I am willing to marry
Orella was already in her back garden. The guests had attended her wedding to Dante Laurenzo Ludovic. She saw her father standing waiting for her, holding out his hand. She accepted her father's hand and said, "There's no need to worry about me. Believe that I can protect you." "I'm not willing to sacrifice you," continued the father. "No! Don't do that! Do you want to see this house filled with the blood of innocent people?" Orella pleaded with the intention of blocking her father, who was about to pull out his gun. Orella didn't want her house to be flooded with the blood of innocent people. She saw some people who had nothing to do with her family's problems, and she saw her best friend, who was at this party. "Dad, I still don't remember the man from that night. But I'm going to find out everything. I won't stop finding out who the person was who killed Juan that night," Orella spoke to her father. Orella did all that to make her father calm down a bit. So as not to start a
"You?" Orella instantly drew her dagger and released the man. She recognized the man she had been struggling with. She took a step back and sat down on a nearby sofa. "You seem to know every corner of the Ludovic family residence," Orella said as she looked at the man in front of her. She couldn't possibly forget that man because he had brought her to meet the masked man that night. Orella was still staring at the man as she waited for him to say something. "My master gave me orders to give this to you," the man said as he handed Orella an envelope. After that, he left the room quietly. Orella frowned as she felt that the man was indeed part of the Ludovic family. Her curiosity grew about the man and the masked man. Without opening the envelope, she ran out of the room. She immediately followed the man. She easily managed to follow him and arrived at a garden. "Is that where he's hiding?" Orella muttered as she continued following the man until she was near a vine-made maze. S
Orella tried to stay awake, but the drowsiness was getting to her. And finally, she fell asleep next to Dante. Finally, someone's shout woke her up. "Get ready!" Dante said after he saw Orella wake up. Then he walked towards the bathroom. Meanwhile, Orella was still sitting on the bed. Not so long ago, she heard the shout of the person who had woken her up. She also saw Dante, who had just come out of the bathroom. "What are you waiting for? Get ready!" Dante ordered Orella. Orella didn't respond to Dante's words even though she was annoyed by the man's tone. However, in the back of her mind, she was grumbling and still curious about the person who had been yelling until this moment. She had finished preparing and saw Dante sitting on the sofa. She felt that he was waiting for her. "Come with me!" Dante said in a flat tone as he got up and walked out of the room. Orella followed him and didn't ask many questions until she arrived at the gazebo in the back garden. She saw two me
"Are they following me?" muttered Orella after she realized a car was following her. To dispel her suspicion, she increased the speed of her car, made a turn, and then turned back around. She was slightly relieved after not seeing the car anymore, until finally, she arrived at an abandoned building, just as her friend had said. "I hope I'm not too late," Orella said as she walked towards the building in front of her. She saw several men approaching her. They unceremoniously attacked her. However, Orella could not be taken down easily. Instead, the men fell on the dusty floor. "This kind of ability is no match for me," Orella said as she walked deeper into the building. She climbed the stairs because she heard her friend's voice. She stopped her steps for a moment and went back to listening to some people talking. Orella smiled as she walked back and approached them all. "Am I late?" asked Orella, surprising everyone in front of her. "Ah... your friends are idiots! They can't st
Orella stopped the car when her cell phone rang. She saw that the number calling her was her father. She immediately picked up the phone and listened to everything her father said. "Okay. I'm going home now," Orella said to her father on the other end of the line, and then she disconnected the phone. She got back into the car and turned around. It wasn't long before she arrived at her father's house. Orella went straight to her father, who was in his workspace. "Dad, what's going on?" Orella asked her father after she entered the workspace. "Sit down!" The father replied as he got up and walked to the sofa. Then he sat there. Orella nodded and sat down on the sofa across from her father. She looked up at her father, trying to figure out what he wanted. "What is it?" Orella asked her father again as he just looked at her without speaking. "Are they giving you a hard time?" The father replied with another question to his daughter. "I'm fine. I'm not a weak woman who is easily i
Orella looked at her husband. She couldn't understand why he would say such a thing, but she also remembered some of the things Leticia had said. "I'll always be with you," Orella said as she stared at her husband. She was still thinking about the name of the woman Leticia had mentioned. She wondered if that woman could be who had been in Dante's heart before he met her. However, it could also be that she was Dante's enemy who wanted to destroy him. "Explain to me! Why are you saying things like that to me? Do you think I'm going to leave you?" Orella asked her husband several questions. Orella continued to stare at Dante, who was also staring at her. The man did not open his mouth, as if he didn't want or wasn't ready to explain everything to her. She sighed and said, "I'll wait until you're ready." After saying that, Orella got up and walked towards the door. She opened it and saw Diana with an unfortunate face before her. "What's wrong?" Orella asked the woman in front of he
"Just say it, and don't beat around the bush!" Orella said back to Leticia. "Come with me!" said Leticia as she walked. Even though she didn't know where she was going, Orella followed Leticia from behind until she finally arrived at a small park inside the headquarters. Orella didn't think a small park would be inside a base like this. I don't know what Dante had in mind to make that small garden here. "I'll tell you everything," Leticia told Orella as she sat under a tree in the small garden. Orella sat beside Lecita without suspecting her in the least. She didn't say much or ask questions of the woman beside her. Leticia began to tell her everything. She explained that she didn't love Dante at all. She had been bothering Orella for the past few days to help Dante understand everything. "What about the incident at the gazebo that night?" Orella asked Leticia. Orella still couldn't believe what the woman beside her was saying. She glanced to the side because Leticia didn't an
"Tell me what you have to say!" said Orella to Diana, sitting across from her. "It's about the mission Silvia is on," Diana replied. Orella nodded as she told Diana to continue. She listened intently to everything the woman in front of her said. "That's all I got. Now it's up to you," Diana said after explaining everything. Orella did not respond to Diana's words. She considered telling Silvia about her father's condition or keeping everything a secret until the mission was over. "I'll wait for your orders. Maybe as long as you're here, I'll stay here too," Diana said as she got up and left Orella and Dante. Orella watched Diana leave. After that, she looked at Dante, who was beside her. "Was Hugo attacking Mr. Vedetta?" Orella asked her husband beside her. "Yes," Dante replied briefly, returning to saying a few things to his wife. Orella just watched and listened to every word from her husband's lips. She clenched her fists in anger at everything Hugo had done to the people
The room's atmosphere was chaotic. Suddenly, Orella was reminded of the attack that night that had cost her Juan. Orella screamed as she called out to Dante. She also covered her eyes and ears because she didn't want to hear everything happening before her. "Honey," someone called and made Orella open her eyes. She immediately hugged the person, who was none other than Dante. She cried in her husband's arms. She continued to cry even though she tried to stop it, but Orella couldn't even stop, even though she had heard Dante's voice. "Calm down, I'm okay. Look at me!" Dante said back to Orella while releasing his embrace. Orella looked at Dante's face. Dante picked her up and carried her out of the room. She just looked at Dante's face and finally stopped crying. "You lied to me. Why?" Orella asked her husband, who was still carrying her. Dante didn't answer Orella's question. He walked into a room. It was his room in his base in the middle of the forest. "Have you calmed down?
"Tell me! What happened?" Orella asked her father again, who was still holding her hand and leading her out of the house. Orella was becoming increasingly curious about her father, who didn't answer any of her questions. Finally, she got into her father's car. The car left the house. During the trip, her father remained silent. Her father's silence made Orella even more curious about what had made her father like that. "Increase the speed of the car!" her father, who was also his confidant, ordered the driver. "Dad, can you explain it to me!" Orella said back to her father as she looked at him sitting beside her. "You'll find out later," the father replied without looking at his daughter. Orella finally shut up and didn't ask her father any more questions. She looked at the street she was walking on. However, she didn't remember the road she was on this time with her father. Finally, the car stopped right in a tranquil area. In front of her was a forest. She wondered if she and
Orella looked at Hugo. She didn't show any fear at all, even though a man was pointing a gun at her. "Are you sure about your decision?" Orella asked Hugo in a calm tone. "I can also be sure you'll get back to me," Hugo replied confidently. Orella watched as Hugo signaled his men to leave. She also listened back to some of the things said by the man in front of her. "You can do whatever you want. However, you will also be destroyed if you touch my family and the people by my side!" Orella emphasized. After saying that, Orella left Hugo's house. However, there were many of the man's men. However, none of them stood in her way. Orella got into her car and started it. She increased the car's speed and headed straight for her father's house. It wasn't long before she arrived, but he wasn't home. When she arrived home, Orella asked the servant she had just met, "Where did my father go?" "It seems your father is hiding his purpose," replied the servant, who was Orella's confi
Orella arrived at the cafe and went straight to the secret room. She saw Silvia practising her shooting there, and Diana was at her computer. "Do you have any new information?" Orella asked Diana as she sat down next to her. "There are two. What do you want, information about your ex-lover or your husband?" Diana replied with another question to Orella beside her. "Tell me about Hugo and then my husband," Orella replied. Orella was still annoyed with Dante for trusting another woman more than her. She also listened to Diana, who began explaining everything she had learned about Hugo. "What will you do about your ex-lover now?" asked Silvia, listening to Diana's explanation. "I will still give him a chance. If he doesn't take the chance, I give him. Then it's over," replied Orella calmly. Orella saw Silvia shaking her head. She reiterated to her best friend that she had no feelings for Hugo. She had buried her love and Hugo's name deep in her heart. "There's no way I'm going to
"What are you doing here? How did you get into this house so easily?" Orella asked the man before her. "You know me well, don't you, Orella? I can easily get in anywhere I want," the man replied. Orella did not underestimate the man in front of her. However, she was afraid of the man's equally heartless nature, even if the person he was dealing with was a child or a helpless woman. "Hugo, why did you come back? Are you also the one who framed my father?" Orella asked the man in front of her while looking at him intently. The man just looked at Orella and didn't answer her question. Orella took a step back as the man approached her. "I missed you so much. Did you miss me too?" Hugo asked Orella back. "I didn't miss you at all. I've kept a tight lid on everything about you," Orella replied firmly. Orella kept her distance from Hugo while listening to everything he had to say. Even though Hugo said and proved how much love he had. However, all of that still couldn't change Orella'
Orella was still transfixed by what was in front of her. Finally, she smiled and clapped her hands. What she did surprised the two people in front of her, and they let go of her embrace. "Is this what you wanted to show me, Dante Laurenzo Ludovic?" asked Orella in a slightly pressing tone. "Honey, don't get me wrong! I...." "Really? Do you want to show me you can get another woman?" Orella cut off Dante's words. Orella moved closer to the woman making out with her husband. She stared intently at the woman, and her eyes were full of questions. "Were you with Dante at that time?" Orella asked the woman in front of her in an interrogating tone. "If so, what would you have done?" The woman asked Orella back in a challenging tone. Orella smiled at the woman's answer, which dared to challenge her. She also glanced at her husband, who was already beside her. "Honey, this is a misunderstanding. I thought it was you," Dante explained, not wanting Orella to misunderstand him. Dante aga
