4. Marriage for Revenge

"Did I hear wrong?" asked a man who had been in the room all along. However, he was only paying attention to the one in front of him.

Orella looked in the direction of the man's voice, and the man approached her. She was shocked when she saw the man's face, and her blood boiled even more when he was near her.

"Of course I want her. This woman must enter the Ludovic family. Nothing can stop me!" said the old man as he looked at the young man beside him.

The young man again expressed his disagreement with what the older man, who was none other than his father, wanted. While they were arguing, Orella just stared at the man with mounting anger. She clenched her hands into fists to hold back her emotions so as not to cause any more trouble for her father or the Maldini family.

"I'm willing to join the family, Ludovic," said Orella, surprising everyone in the room, including her father.

"Honey, say it again! Did I hear you wrong?" Ilario asked his daughter.

"I am willing to marry into Ludovic's family," Orella replied again, this time in a firm tone.

The old man laughed happily at Orella's words and said, "Announce to everyone that my son Dante Laurenzo Ludovic is getting married to Orella Daria Maldini."

"What?" asked the young man who had just argued with the old man. He was none other than Dante.

"Of course I want her for you," the father replied to his son and left the room.

"Father!" shouted Dante. However, his father ignored him and continued to walk out of the room, followed by several other people, including Ilario Maldini.

Orella was still staring intently at Dante. In the back of her mind, she also felt surprised because she thought she would marry the old man. However, the old man wanted her to marry the man in front of her right now.

"Aren't you scared to death of coming into my family?" asked Dante with a cold tone and emphasis on every word.

"Death... I've already died once so why am I afraid to die once again."

Orella smiled slightly, then turned around and left the man. Although in her heart she wanted to beat the man with both hands and even finish him.

"I'll never forget that face. Get ready Dante Laurenzo Ludovic," Orella muttered as she continued walking.

She paused for a moment when she saw Silvia, who was probably waiting for her outside the room. Orella looked at the confused woman in front of her.

"What's wrong? Do you have something to ask?" Orella asked her friend.

"Are you serious about your decision? Don't you know the man's actions? You should rethink your decision to marry him," Silvia replied with several questions to her friend.

"My mind is made up. I'm going to marry him," Orella replied as she continued to leave the room. Silvia continued to follow her.

Her friend kept questioning her about her decision to marry Dante. It was clear that Silvia was worried about her.

***

The wedding day arrived. Orella stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself in her wedding dress. She thought back to the night that killed her brother.

"All those who have made you disappear will die at my hands," Orella muttered.

She looked at the open door. Orella saw her father approaching her.

"Orella, you can cancel this wedding if you don't want to," the father said as he looked at his daughter.

Orella listened to everything her father said. She knew that her father did not want her to suffer in the Ludovic family, which was full of intrigue and unspeakable cruelty.

However, none of that will stop her from entering the Ludovic family because she knows that the family has something to do with Dante's death. And she also wanted to avenge everyone who had raised the incident one year ago.

"I don't want to lose anymore. You're all I have after my son's death," the father told Orella again.

"Dad, do you know if Juan's death has anything to do with them?" asked Orella, who felt that her father already knew something.

Orella saw that her father was silent. She became increasingly convinced that he already knew something about the incident one year ago. She continued to stare at her father and held his hand.

She felt that after Juan's death, her father had changed. Orella thinks that her father is getting weaker if it has anything to do with her.

"Did they threaten you?" Orella asked her father.

"Word spread that Dante had attacked you and Juan that night. I went to see the head of the Ludovic family. But I haven't gotten all the evidence that Dante did it," her father replied.

Orella listened to everything her father explained. She also listened to her father, who kept asking her not to enter Ludovic's family.

"Be honest with me, you actually recognized that it was Dante Laurenzo Ludovic. So you decided to marry him," the father told his daughter as he looked at her intently.

"I'm ...."

Before Orella could finish her sentence, someone knocked on the door. Either she or her father ignored the person, but the person asked permission to enter.

"Come in!" the father commanded the man behind the door.

The door to the room opened to reveal a man who was none other than her father's right-hand man. The man whispered something to her father, and he left without saying a word.

"Dad," Orella called, and that stopped her father in his tracks.

"The party will start soon. You wait here because someone will take you to the garden," the father replied, and then he walked back out of his daughter's room.

It wasn't long before two women approached her. They were smiling at her, but she could clearly see that they were both worried about her.

"Don't put on a sad face. Today is my wedding," Orella told the two women, none other than Olivia and Silvia.

"Orella think again! I don't want you to marry a cruel man like him!" continued Silvia.

"Yes. I agree with what Silvia said. Do you know there are so many enemies who want her dead. If you marry him maybe his enemies will make you a target. You might also be ...."

"I won't die until I've punished the person who killed Juan. Don't you also want to see the person who killed Juan die?" Orella interrupted, looking at Olivia.

Orella knew exactly how Olivia felt about Juan. Perhaps to this day, the woman in front of her cannot forget her love and affection for Juan.

She saw a woman in an all-black suit by the door. Orella knew that it was time for her to marry the man who had something to do with Juan's death. Even though, until this very moment, she hadn't said who the man was that night.

'Juan, I'll make sure that man dies in agony. Give me the strength to complete my revenge mission,' Orella said to herself as she walked out of the room.

Do you want to see this house filled with the blood of innocent people?" Orella pleaded with the intention of blocking her father, who was about to pull out his gun. Orella didn't want her house to be flooded with the blood of innocent people. She saw some people who had nothing to do with her family's problems, and she saw her best friend, who was at this party. "You?" Orella instantly drew her dagger and released the man. She recognized the man she had been struggling with. She took a step back and sat down on a nearby sofa. "You seem to know every corner of the Ludovic family residence," Orella said as she looked at the man in front of her. She couldn't possibly forget that man because he had brought her to meet the masked man that night. Orella was still staring at the man as she waited for him to say something. "My master gave me orders to give this to you," the man said as he handed Orella an envelope. After that, he left the room quietly. Orella frowned as she felt that the man was indeed part of the Ludovic family. Her curiosity grew about the man and the masked man. Without opening the envelope, she ran out of the room. She immediately followed the man. She easily managed to follow him and arrived at a garden. "Is that where he's hiding?" Orella muttered as she continued following the man until she was near a vine-made maze. S

Orella tried to stay awake, but the drowsiness was getting to her. And finally, she fell asleep next to Dante. Finally, someone's shout woke her up. "Get ready!" Dante said after he saw Orella wake up. Then he walked towards the bathroom. Meanwhile, Orella was still sitting on the bed. Not so long ago, she heard the shout of the person who had woken her up. She also saw Dante, who had just come out of the bathroom. "What are you waiting for? Get ready!" Dante ordered Orella. Orella didn't respond to Dante's words even though she was annoyed by the man's tone. However, in the back of her mind, she was grumbling and still curious about the person who had been yelling until this moment. She had finished preparing and saw Dante sitting on the sofa. She felt that he was waiting for her. "Come with me!" Dante said in a flat tone as he got up and walked out of the room. Orella followed him and didn't ask many questions until she arrived at the gazebo in the back garden. She saw two me

She was slightly relieved after not seeing the car anymore, until finally, she arrived at an abandoned building, just as her friend had said. "I hope I'm not too late," Orella said as she walked towards the building in front of her. She saw several men approaching her. They unceremoniously attacked her. However, Orella could not be taken down easily. Instead, the men fell on the dusty floor. "This kind of ability is no match for me," Orella said as she walked deeper into the building. She climbed the stairs because she heard her friend's voice. She stopped her steps for a moment and went back to listening to some people talking. Orella smiled as she walked back and approached them all. "Am I late?" asked Orella, surprising everyone in front of her. "Ah... your friends are idiots! They can't st

Orella also believed what Gia said because, one by one, the woman's men were shot. She tried to stay calm and find the position of the person who was shooting at her. "Give me a gun!" Orella shouted to anyone who was nearby. A man immediately threw a gun at her. Orella quickly managed to catch the gun. She was ready to shoot at the man who kept raining bullets. "There you are," Orella said with a smile as she pulled the trigger of the gun in her hand. The bullet shot towards the person who had been shooting at her. She waited for a while. She stood up but was still wary of the enemy, who suddenly stopped shooting at her. 'There's no way my bullet will hit him, right? "Orella asked herself. "They're gone," a man said, pointing at a car that was leaving the scene. Orella stood up and came out of her shelter. She looked at the spot where she h

"Stay where you are! And don't move!" Dante told Orella again and pulled the trigger of his gun. The bullet whizzed towards Orella, but Dante could tell that it didn't hit her. The shot was right on target: a man behind Orella and about to finish her off. Dante walked over to Orella, who was still standing. Reflexively, he held Orella, who was about to fall. He carried the woman, who was currently unconscious. "You take care of that intruder! Get all the information from him!" Dante ordered the man in front of him. Dante walked into the house while continuing to carry Orella. Occasionally, he looked at the face of the woman who wanted his destruction and death. "You're still weak. I don't know if you can take the backlash," Dante said as he walked into the room and laid Orella on the couch. He walked to the bathroom and grabbed a dry towel. Then he grabbed his T-shirt. Dante approached Orella again and individually took off her dirty and wet clothes. Then, he dried Orella's body

"What happened?" murmured Orella, whose last memory was of seeing the little girl who could no longer be saved. She heard Dante's cell phone ring, and Orella pretended to be asleep. She felt Dante move, probably to get his cell phone. It wasn't long before she heard him talking to the person on the other end of the line. "I don't care if the Maldini family's small business is destroyed," Dante said to the person on the other end of the line. Dante's words startled Orella, and she immediately changed her body position so that she was on top of the man's body. She stared intently at Dante, but he smiled coldly. "Stop that plan! Orella looked at her husband. She couldn't understand why he would say such a thing, but she also remembered some of the things Leticia had said. "I'll always be with you," Orella said as she stared at her husband. She was still thinking about the name of the woman Leticia had mentioned. She wondered if that woman could be who had been in Dante's heart before he met her. However, it could also be that she was Dante's enemy who wanted to destroy him. "Explain to me! Why are you saying things like that to me? Do you think I'm going to leave you?" Orella asked her husband several questions. Orella continued to stare at Dante, who was also staring at her. The man did not open his mouth, as if he didn't want or wasn't ready to explain everything to her. She sighed and said, "I'll wait until you're ready." After saying that, Orella got up and walked towards the door. She opened it and saw Diana with an unfortunate face before her. "What's wrong?" Orella asked the woman in front of he

Orella didn't think a small park would be inside a base like this. I don't know what Dante had in mind to make that small garden here. "I'll tell you everything," Leticia told Orella as she sat under a tree in the small garden. Orella sat beside Lecita without suspecting her in the least. She didn't say much or ask questions of the woman beside her. Leticia began to tell her everything. She explained that she didn't love Dante at all. She had been bothering Orella for the past few days to help Dante understand everything. "What about the incident at the gazebo that night?" Orella asked Leticia. She immediately hugged the person, who was none other than Dante. She cried in her husband's arms. She continued to cry even though she tried to stop it, but Orella couldn't even stop, even though she had heard Dante's voice. "Calm down, I'm okay. Look at me!" Dante said back to Orella while releasing his embrace. Orella looked at Dante's face. Dante picked her up and carried her out of the room. She just looked at Dante's face and finally stopped crying. During the trip, her father remained silent. Her father's silence made Orella even more curious about what had made her father like that. "Increase the speed of the car!" her father, who was also his confidant, ordered the driver. "Dad, can you explain it to me!" Orella said back to her father as she looked at him sitting beside her. "You'll find out later," the father replied without looking at his daughter. Orella finally shut up and didn't ask her father any more questions. She looked at the street she was walking on. She also listened to Diana, who began explaining everything she had learned about Hugo. "What will you do about your ex-lover now?" asked Silvia, listening to Diana's explanation. "I will still give him a chance. If he doesn't take the chance, I give him. Then it's over," replied Orella calmly. Orella saw Silvia shaking her head.
