3. Crazy Woman

last update Last Updated: 2024-11-30 16:03:12

"What's going on?" muttered Orella when she saw the commotion after she entered the party room.

She approached the direction of the commotion because she heard the voice of someone she recognized. Orella stopped her steps once she had a clear view.

Orella saw the woman in the yellow dress slap the woman in the white dress so hard. She was fed up with what was happening in front of her. Without thinking, she took a few steps forward and slapped the woman in yellow back twice as hard as the woman in white.

"Orella, you!" screeched the woman in the yellow dress in an irritated tone.

Without responding, Orella slapped the woman in the yellow dress again. She didn't care at all about everyone watching her.

"I told you not to, Olivia Vedetta! So that you don't have to show your weakness to this pair of rotten humans!" Orella said in a cold tone to the woman in the white dress in front of her.

"You crazy woman! What did you come here for? Do you want to ruin Mr. Ludovic's party?" interrupted the woman in the yellow dress in an annoyed tone while holding her right and left cheeks that were burning after being slapped by Orella.

Orella overheard some people starting to talk about her. She vaguely heard some people start talking about the incident that killed Juan, and they all indirectly accused her of being the killer of her brother.

She grinned and took one step forward until she was facing the woman in the yellow dress. She looked at her with cold but sharp eyes as if she was about to devour the one in front of her.

"Anna, aren't you afraid of a crazy woman like me?" asked Orella in a cold tone.

"I'm not afraid of you at all! You shouldn't be at the party tonight either. You should have stayed inside your house to regret your foolish actions of getting Juan killed and making your father ...."

"My father? What's wrong with my father?" asked Orella as Anna didn't continue her sentence.

"Orella, come with me!" a woman who had just entered the room. She immediately pulled Orella's hand to come with her.

Orella hadn't had time to work out her frustration with Anna for stirring up trouble with her best friend's sister. She brushed off the woman's hand once she was outside the party room.

"Silvia, what's wrong with you? Don't you want me to solve your sister's problem?" asked Orella in an annoyed tone.

"My sister can handle it. Now all you have to do is save your father!" replied Silvia.

"What? What happened to my father?"

"Come with me! Before it's too late."

Orella followed Silvia. She was getting worried about her father, and then Anna had just said something about her father. Many questions arose in her mind, and it made her worry even more about her father. Her steps stopped when she saw Silvia stop right in front of a large room with a tightly closed door.

"Dad," Orella called after she heard her father's angry voice.

Without thinking, Orella walked into the room. Everyone in the room was focused on her, but Orella did not feel afraid and continued to approach her father.

"Why are you here?" the father asked his daughter.

"What do they want? To make you furious?" Orella asked her father back while staring at the two older men in front of her.

"Wait for me outside! I'll finish it quickly and we'll go back home," the father replied.

Orella shook her head and said, "I won't leave you! From now on I will be your shield."

There was a sound of applause from the side. Orella immediately looked at the person. An older man approached her with a smile.

"Ilario Maldini, your daughter is very attractive," said the old man.

Orell was a little surprised when her father changed his position so that her father was now her shield. However, she could still clearly see the older man's face.

"Leave my daughter alone, Mr. Ludovic!" Ilario said in a stern tone.

'Ludovic... is he the head of the Ludovic family, which is famous for its cruelty?' Orella asked in her heart as she looked at the older man.

Although she had often heard about his cruelty, she had never met the older man. She had been trying to avoid anything related to her father's underworld. She is more focused on the business with her brother, which she has always hidden.

Mr. Ludovic chuckled when he heard Ilario speak firmly. However, Orella felt an oppressive aura from the older man. She was surprised when the older man immediately pulled out a firearm and fired the bullets inside.

The bullet whizzed towards her but just missed her. She was transfixed for a moment by the experience.

"I don't like intruders at my events tonight," said Mr. Ludovic as he signaled his guards to bring the corpse of the man he had just finished off.

"Honey, are you okay?" Ilario asked his daughter.

"I'm fine," Orella replied after managing to shake off her shock.

Orella looked back at the older man in front of her. The older man took two steps forward so that he was in front of her. She flinched and showed that she was not afraid of the older man. In other words, she wanted to show that she deserved to be called the daughter of the Maldini family.

"Ilario, I want your daughter," said Mr. Ludovic, to the surprise of everyone in the room.

"Did I hear wrong?" asked a man who had been in the room all along. However, he was only paying attention to the one in front of him. Orella looked in the direction of the man's voice, and the man approached her. She was shocked when she saw the man's face, and her blood boiled even more when he was near her. "Of course I want her. This woman must enter the Ludovic family. Nothing can stop me!" said the old man as he looked at the young man beside him. The young man again expressed his disagreement with what the older man, who was none other than his father, wanted. While they were arguing, Orella just stared at the man with mounting anger. She clenched her hands into fists to hold back her emotions so as not to cause any more trouble for her father or the Maldini family. "I'm willing to join the family, Ludovic," said Orella, surprising everyone in the room, including her father. "Honey, say it again! Did I hear you wrong?" Ilario asked his daughter. Orella was already in her back garden. The guests had attended her wedding to Dante Laurenzo Ludovic. She saw her father standing waiting for her, holding out his hand. She accepted her father's hand and said, "There's no need to worry about me. Believe that I can protect you." "I'm not willing to sacrifice you," continued the father. "No! Don't do that! Do you want to see this house filled with the blood of innocent people?" Orella pleaded with the intention of blocking her father, who was about to pull out his gun. Orella didn't want her house to be flooded with the blood of innocent people. She saw some people who had nothing to do with her family's problems, and she saw her best friend, who was at this party. "Dad, I still don't remember the man from that night. But I'm going to find out everything. I won't stop finding out who the person was who killed Juan that night," Orella spoke to her father. Orella did all that to make her father calm down a bit. So as not to start a

"You seem to know every corner of the Ludovic family residence," Orella said as she looked at the man in front of her. She couldn't possibly forget that man because he had brought her to meet the masked man that night. Orella was still staring at the man as she waited for him to say something. "My master gave me orders to give this to you," the man said as he handed Orella an envelope. After that, he left the room quietly. Orella frowned as she felt that the man was indeed part of the Ludovic family. Her curiosity grew about the man and the masked man. Without opening the envelope, she ran out of the room. She immediately followed the man. She easily managed to follow him and arrived at a garden. "Is that where he's hiding?" Orella muttered as she continued following the man until she was near a vine-made maze. S

Dante said after he saw Orella wake up. Then he walked towards the bathroom. Meanwhile, Orella was still sitting on the bed. Not so long ago, she heard the shout of the person who had woken her up. She also saw Dante, who had just come out of the bathroom. "What are you waiting for? Get ready!" Dante ordered Orella. Orella didn't respond to Dante's words even though she was annoyed by the man's tone. However, in the back of her mind, she was grumbling and still curious about the person who had been yelling until this moment. She had finished preparing and saw Dante sitting on the sofa. She felt that he was waiting for her. "Come with me!" Dante said in a flat tone as he got up and walked out of the room. Orella followed him and didn't ask many questions until she arrived at the gazebo in the back garden. She saw two me

"Are they following me?" muttered Orella after she realized a car was following her. To dispel her suspicion, she increased the speed of her car, made a turn, and then turned back around. She was slightly relieved after not seeing the car anymore, until finally, she arrived at an abandoned building, just as her friend had said. "I hope I'm not too late," Orella said as she walked towards the building in front of her. She saw several men approaching her. They unceremoniously attacked her. However, Orella could not be taken down easily. Instead, the men fell on the dusty floor. "This kind of ability is no match for me," Orella said as she walked deeper into the building. She climbed the stairs because she heard her friend's voice. She stopped her steps for a moment and went back to listening to some people talking. Orella smiled as she walked back and approached them all. "Am I late?" asked Orella, surprising everyone in front of her. "Ah... your friends are idiots! They can't st

It wasn't long before she arrived at her father's house. Orella went straight to her father, who was in his workspace. "Dad, what's going on?" Orella asked her father after she entered the workspace. "Sit down!" The father replied as he got up and walked to the sofa. Then he sat there. Orella nodded and sat down on the sofa across from her father. She looked up at her father, trying to figure out what he wanted. "What is it?" Orella asked her father again as he just looked at her without speaking. "Are they giving you a hard time?" The father replied with another question to his daughter. "I'm fine. I'm not a weak woman who is easily i

Orella shouted to anyone who was nearby. A man immediately threw a gun at her. Orella quickly managed to catch the gun. She was ready to shoot at the man who kept raining bullets. "There you are," Orella said with a smile as she pulled the trigger of the gun in her hand. The bullet shot towards the person who had been shooting at her. She waited for a while. She stood up but was still wary of the enemy, who suddenly stopped shooting at her. 'There's no way my bullet will hit him, right? "Orella asked herself. The shot was right on target: a man behind Orella and about to finish her off. Dante walked over to Orella, who was still standing. Reflexively, he held Orella, who was about to fall. He carried the woman, who was currently unconscious. "You take care of that intruder! Get all the information from him!" Dante ordered the man in front of him. Dante walked into the house while continuing to carry Orella. Occasionally, he looked at the face of the woman who wanted his destruction and death. "You're still weak. I don't know if you can take the backlash," Dante said as he walked into the room and laid Orella on the couch. He walked to the bathroom and grabbed a dry towel. Then he grabbed his T-shirt. Dante approached Orella again and individually took off her dirty and wet clothes. Then, he dried Orella's body

Orella silently listened to everything Silvia had to say about Eliana. Occasionally, she shook her head at Eliana's behaviour, which she found annoying but ridiculous. However, she did not think that Eliana could also be mean to people she disliked. That woman could even harm her to the point of losing her life. "Does Dante know everything that woman does? If he knew, would Dante still want to be around her?" she asked herself. "How? Was my information useful to you?" Silvia asked Orella. "Of course, it was useful. It can be used as a weapon to strike back," replied Orella as she got up and walked into her room. "I'll prepare dinner," Diana continued. "Call me when it's ready," replied Orella, then she went into her room. Orella looked around her room. It had been so long since she had been home in the forest. She was also reminded of some of her memories of the first time she entered the underground world. She threw her body on the bed and looked at the ceiling of her room. O

Orella remembered what Silvia and Alex had said. However, she also remembers the incident when Lucas took Diana from her office. “Why did it have to be like this?” Orella muttered, then sighed. Orella went back into her room and saw Dante, who had just entered. She stood and looked at the man now in front of her. “I thought you would stay with her,“ Orella told Dante. “Are you jealous?” Dante replied with a question to Orella. “No. I just ....” Before Orella could continue her sentence, Dante pulled Orella into his arms. She looked at Diana, who was sitting not too far away. The woman always sat in front of her computer screen. Two months had passed since Silvia's departure, but she could still contact and talk to her. Orella was a little relieved that Hugo was dead so that no other enemies would recognize her as the leader of Red Eagle—except for Dante and his two friends. "Pick up the phone!" Orella ordered Diana because Diana's cell phone had been ringing and she hadn't picked up. "It's not important," Diana replied. Orella shook her head. She wondered if that woman could be who had been in Dante's heart before he met her. However, it could also be that she was Dante's enemy who wanted to destroy him. "Explain to me! Why are you saying things like that to me? Do you think I'm going to leave you?" Orella asked her husband several questions. Orella continued to stare at Dante, who was also staring at her. The man did not open his mouth, as if he didn't want or wasn't ready to explain everything to her. She sighed and said, "I'll wait until you're ready." Orella didn't think a small park would be inside a base like this. I don't know what Dante had in mind to make that small garden here. "I'll tell you everything," Leticia told Orella as she sat under a tree in the small garden. Orella sat beside Lecita without suspecting her in the least. She didn't say much or ask questions of the woman beside her. Leticia began to tell her everything. She explained that she didn't love Dante at all. Dante said back to Orella while releasing his embrace. Orella looked at Dante's face. Dante picked her up and carried her out of the room. She just looked at Dante's face and finally stopped crying. "You'll find out later," the father replied without looking at his daughter. Orella finally shut up and didn't ask her father any more questions. She looked at the street she was walking on. However, she didn't remember the road she was on this time with her father. Finally, the car stopped right in a tranquil area. In front of her was a forest. She wondered if she and
