Orella tried to stay awake, but the drowsiness was getting to her. And finally, she fell asleep next to Dante. Finally, someone's shout woke her up.
"Get ready!" Dante said after he saw Orella wake up. Then he walked towards the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Orella was still sitting on the bed. Not so long ago, she heard the shout of the person who had woken her up. She also saw Dante, who had just come out of the bathroom.
"What are you waiting for? Get ready!" Dante ordered Orella.
Orella didn't respond to Dante's words even though she was annoyed by the man's tone. However, in the back of her mind, she was grumbling and still curious about the person who had been yelling until this moment.
She had finished preparing and saw Dante sitting on the sofa. She felt that he was waiting for her.
"Come with me!" Dante said in a flat tone as he got up and walked out of the room.
Orella followed him and didn't ask many questions until she arrived at the gazebo in the back garden. She saw two men and a woman already sitting in the pavilion.
"Orella, sit down!" said the old man, who was none other than her father-in-law.
Orella nodded and sat right next to Dante. She also noticed a young man who was about her age. She kept looking at him intently because she felt she had met him before.
"Why do you keep staring, Mario? Is your husband unable to satisfy you tonight?" asked the woman sitting directly across from Orella in an annoyed tone.
Orella was a little surprised by what the woman said. She smiled because she knew who the person was who was shouting to disturb her sleep.
"You're too confident. Is it obvious that I'm dissatisfied with my husband?" Orella replied calmly.
She showed that she was not at all afraid or provoked by the woman across from her. Instead, she showed her emotional composure as she picked up the glass of juice on the table and drank it.
"You! You'd better watch your eyes and mouth! I could do worse than die!" the woman screeched in a threatening tone.
The woman continued to threaten Orella and didn't care that the head of the Ludovic family was there. So were Dante and the man Orella had been staring at. They were all silent and listened to the woman's rage.
"I didn't think that the Ludovic family, which is notorious for being cruel to its enemies, would be silent to a woman like you," said Orella, who stopped the woman from speaking in a high tone.
There was an instant silence. The woman did not open her mouth. Seeing all that, Orella just smiled. She also felt a very pressing aura from her father-in-law. It wasn't long before her father-in-law got up and walked out of the pavilion.
"I remind you! Don't ever interfere with my beloved! If I see you flirting with her again, then I will destroy the Maldini family!" the woman threatened in an arrogant tone.
Orella immediately stood up and approached the woman. She looked at her sharply. She didn't speak at all, but the look in her eyes was so pressing on the woman who had dared to threaten her.
"Don't you dare threaten me with my family name? Just so you know, I can do worse than you ever thought possible," Orella said in a flat but pressing tone.
Orella continued to stare at the woman in front of her. It was obvious that she was surprised by what she had said. She grinned and left the pavilion.
She didn't care about the two men and the woman in the gazebo anymore. Orella continued walking until she was in her room. She picked up her cell phone and saw a text message from Silvia. After reading it, she immediately called her best friend.
"Where are you?" asked Orella after her best friend picked up the phone.
She turned her body and saw Dante, who had just entered the room. Orella continued to listen to Silvia as she stared at the man in front of her.
"I'll be right there! You wait for me there. Okay!" Orella said in a slightly commanding tone to her friend. After hearing Silvia's agreement, she disconnected the phone.
"You'd better be careful," Dante said as he looked at Orella.
"Careful about who?"
"You just threatened Gia Maria Nardo."
Orella was silent for a moment after hearing the name of the woman Dante had just mentioned. She was sure that it was the woman who had just argued with her in the pavilion.
"I'm not afraid of her, and I'm not even afraid of you," Orella said.
She was surprised when Dante grabbed her wrist. She tried to let go of her hand as she stared at him. However, the harder she tried, the tighter Dante gripped her wrist.
Orella finally stopped resisting. She took a step forward and brought her face closer to Dante's, and she kept getting closer and closer.
"I still remember that night clearly," Orella said as she continued to stare intently into Dante's eyes.
"I already knew you remembered it. So I was waiting for you to come into my grasp," Dante said as he roughly released Orella's hand.
Orella was again shocked by what Dante said. She saw the man smirk and leave. She continued to stare at the man until he disappeared from her sight.
"No way... how would he know if I didn't forget everything that happened that night?" muttered Orella as she couldn't believe what Dante had just said.
Just as she was thinking about that, her cell phone rang again. She immediately picked it up because it was Silvia.
"You stay there! I'll be right there!" Orella said as she hung up the phone and walked out of her room.
She descended the stairs and walked outside the house. She saw a bodyguard who had opened the car door in front of her.
"This car is prepared for you," said the bodyguard.
Without thinking, Orella got into the car. She started the car and increased its speed once it was outside the house area.
"Wait for me, Silvia," Orella murmured as she drove the car at high speed.
"Are they following me?" muttered Orella after she realized a car was following her. To dispel her suspicion, she increased the speed of her car, made a turn, and then turned back around. She was slightly relieved after not seeing the car anymore, until finally, she arrived at an abandoned building, just as her friend had said. "I hope I'm not too late," Orella said as she walked towards the building in front of her. She saw several men approaching her. They unceremoniously attacked her. However, Orella could not be taken down easily. Instead, the men fell on the dusty floor. "This kind of ability is no match for me," Orella said as she walked deeper into the building. She climbed the stairs because she heard her friend's voice. She stopped her steps for a moment and went back to listening to some people talking. Orella smiled as she walked back and approached them all. "Am I late?" asked Orella, surprising everyone in front of her. "Ah... your friends are idiots! They can't st
Orella stopped the car when her cell phone rang. She saw that the number calling her was her father. She immediately picked up the phone and listened to everything her father said. "Okay. I'm going home now," Orella said to her father on the other end of the line, and then she disconnected the phone. She got back into the car and turned around. It wasn't long before she arrived at her father's house. Orella went straight to her father, who was in his workspace. "Dad, what's going on?" Orella asked her father after she entered the workspace. "Sit down!" The father replied as he got up and walked to the sofa. Then he sat there. Orella nodded and sat down on the sofa across from her father. She looked up at her father, trying to figure out what he wanted. "What is it?" Orella asked her father again as he just looked at her without speaking. "Are they giving you a hard time?" The father replied with another question to his daughter. "I'm fine. I'm not a weak woman who is easily i
"Am I crazy to want to kill you? Just look at that guy attacking me and my men, too!" Gia shouted as she ran behind the car to take cover. Orella also believed what Gia said because, one by one, the woman's men were shot. She tried to stay calm and find the position of the person who was shooting at her. "Give me a gun!" Orella shouted to anyone who was nearby. A man immediately threw a gun at her. Orella quickly managed to catch the gun. She was ready to shoot at the man who kept raining bullets. "There you are," Orella said with a smile as she pulled the trigger of the gun in her hand. The bullet shot towards the person who had been shooting at her. She waited for a while. She stood up but was still wary of the enemy, who suddenly stopped shooting at her. 'There's no way my bullet will hit him, right? "Orella asked herself. "They're gone," a man said, pointing at a car that was leaving the scene. Orella stood up and came out of her shelter. She looked at the spot where she h
"Stay where you are! And don't move!" Dante told Orella again and pulled the trigger of his gun. The bullet whizzed towards Orella, but Dante could tell that it didn't hit her. The shot was right on target: a man behind Orella and about to finish her off. Dante walked over to Orella, who was still standing. Reflexively, he held Orella, who was about to fall. He carried the woman, who was currently unconscious. "You take care of that intruder! Get all the information from him!" Dante ordered the man in front of him. Dante walked into the house while continuing to carry Orella. Occasionally, he looked at the face of the woman who wanted his destruction and death. "You're still weak. I don't know if you can take the backlash," Dante said as he walked into the room and laid Orella on the couch. He walked to the bathroom and grabbed a dry towel. Then he grabbed his T-shirt. Dante approached Orella again and individually took off her dirty and wet clothes. Then, he dried Orella's body
Dante was still trying to find out about the secret Orella and Juan were hiding. However, he couldn't get Orella to tell him, and she fell asleep in Dante's arms. Orella wakes up in the morning as the sunlight dazzles her eyes. She is transfixed by the sight of Dante asleep next to her, and she gently pulls her hand away from his chest. "What happened?" murmured Orella, whose last memory was of seeing the little girl who could no longer be saved. She heard Dante's cell phone ring, and Orella pretended to be asleep. She felt Dante move, probably to get his cell phone. It wasn't long before she heard him talking to the person on the other end of the line. "I don't care if the Maldini family's small business is destroyed," Dante said to the person on the other end of the line. Dante's words startled Orella, and she immediately changed her body position so that she was on top of the man's body. She stared intently at Dante, but he smiled coldly. "Stop that plan! Otherwise, you'll re
"Orella, I've gotten new information about the woman your father is currently close to," Silvia told Orella. "Tell me!" continued Orella as she put on the earrings and the necklace. Now, she was preparing to attend a ceremony organized by her company. No one knew the business she was running, not even Dante or her father. "So what are you going to do? Would you approve of your father being with that woman?" Silvia asked Orella after finishing telling her all the information about Miranda. Orella didn't answer Silvia's question even though her best friend gave her information that didn't endanger her father or her family. However, she still couldn't fully trust Miranda, who wanted to take her mother's place in her father's heart or home. "You tell them to keep an eye on that woman. And keep finding out all the information about her. I'm sure there's something still hidden," Orella told Silvia. "Okay. I'll tell my people," Silvia replied. Orella heard Silvia's cell phone ring. Sh
"Tell me who you are?" The masked man asked Orella again. Orella remained silent as she looked into the rearview mirror of her motorcycle. She thought maybe the man hadn't realized that his mask was off. Now, what she was curious about was why the man was doing all this to her. She saw the man get off his bike and pick up his phone. Orella stayed where she was because a few seconds earlier, she saw an enemy car pass by. "You can act already! I'll be waiting for you at the point I sent you!" the man said to the person on the other end of the line. After that, he disconnected the phone. Without saying much more, Orella immediately started her motorcycle and left the man behind. She wondered if the man's men would arrive soon to pick him up. "What exactly is your purpose in doing all this?" Orella muttered as she continued to drive her motorcycle at a high speed. Finally, Orella arrived at an apartment. It was hers, and no one knew about it except Silvia and her brother Juan. She
"You finally took off your mask," Orella said with a smile. She looked at Miranda, but she did nothing to the woman. Orella would give the woman a chance not to continue with her foul plan. "Here I am. I will take everything that I should have! You're just a foolish and weak woman. Do you know that you will die soon?" said Miranda. Orella continued to look at Miranda, who continued to talk about everything she was going to do. The woman also said that she would eliminate everything related to people who were already dead. She was annoyed by what Miranda had said. Without saying anything, she slapped the woman quite hard. "Orella!" shouted her father, who saw her slap Miranda. "What can you see in a woman like her?" asked Orella to her father, who was already in front of her. "She is the woman right beside me. Do you doubt me?" replied the father as he gave his daughter an annoyed look. Orella smiled as she heard her father's words. It was now clear that she had blinded her fat
Orella silently listened to everything Silvia had to say about Eliana. Occasionally, she shook her head at Eliana's behaviour, which she found annoying but ridiculous. However, she did not think that Eliana could also be mean to people she disliked. That woman could even harm her to the point of losing her life. "Does Dante know everything that woman does? If he knew, would Dante still want to be around her?" she asked herself. "How? Was my information useful to you?" Silvia asked Orella. "Of course, it was useful. It can be used as a weapon to strike back," replied Orella as she got up and walked into her room. "I'll prepare dinner," Diana continued. "Call me when it's ready," replied Orella, then she went into her room. Orella looked around her room. It had been so long since she had been home in the forest. She was also reminded of some of her memories of the first time she entered the underground world. She threw her body on the bed and looked at the ceiling of her room. O
"Explain it to me!" Orella ordered the woman who had just entered the room.Orella listened to the woman's explanation while waiting for Diana, who had started moving her fingers on the keyboard. She also saw Silvia walking over to the cabinet containing the weapons."I've found her," Diana said to Orella and the others.
Orella listened again to Silvia on the other end of the phone. Then she walked over to the table, picked up a glass of water, and drank it. “All right. I'll be waiting for you,” Orella said to Silvia, and then she hung up the phone. She put her cell phone on the table and walked to the balcony. She stared at everything in front of her. Orella remembered what Silvia and Alex had said. However, she also remembers the incident when Lucas took Diana from her office. “Why did it have to be like this?” Orella muttered, then sighed. Orella went back into her room and saw Dante, who had just entered. She stood and looked at the man now in front of her. “I thought you would stay with her,“ Orella told Dante. “Are you jealous?” Dante replied with a question to Orella. “No. I just ....” Before Orella could continue her sentence, Dante pulled Orella into his arms. The man said nothing and just hugged her. Orella was transfixed. She was about to return her husband's embrace. However, she
"Orella, I did everything you told me to do," Diana said to Orella, sitting on her work chair. "Good. Now we have to wait," Orella continued. Orella leaned her body against the back of the chair. She looked at Diana, who was sitting not too far away. The woman always sat in front of her computer screen. Two months had passed since Silvia's departure, but she could still contact and talk to her. Orella was a little relieved that Hugo was dead so that no other enemies would recognize her as the leader of Red Eagle—except for Dante and his two friends. "Pick up the phone!" Orella ordered Diana because Diana's cell phone had been ringing and she hadn't picked up. "It's not important," Diana replied. Orella shook her head. She suspected Diana was upset with the person who had called her earlier. 'Who is the person who has upset her like this?' Orella asked herself as she continued to look at Diana. Not long after, someone opened the door to the room. Orella was slightly surprised b
Orella looked at her husband. She couldn't understand why he would say such a thing, but she also remembered some of the things Leticia had said. "I'll always be with you," Orella said as she stared at her husband. She was still thinking about the name of the woman Leticia had mentioned. She wondered if that woman could be who had been in Dante's heart before he met her. However, it could also be that she was Dante's enemy who wanted to destroy him. "Explain to me! Why are you saying things like that to me? Do you think I'm going to leave you?" Orella asked her husband several questions. Orella continued to stare at Dante, who was also staring at her. The man did not open his mouth, as if he didn't want or wasn't ready to explain everything to her. She sighed and said, "I'll wait until you're ready." After saying that, Orella got up and walked towards the door. She opened it and saw Diana with an unfortunate face before her. "What's wrong?" Orella asked the woman in front of he
"Just say it, and don't beat around the bush!" Orella said back to Leticia. "Come with me!" said Leticia as she walked. Even though she didn't know where she was going, Orella followed Leticia from behind until she finally arrived at a small park inside the headquarters. Orella didn't think a small park would be inside a base like this. I don't know what Dante had in mind to make that small garden here. "I'll tell you everything," Leticia told Orella as she sat under a tree in the small garden. Orella sat beside Lecita without suspecting her in the least. She didn't say much or ask questions of the woman beside her. Leticia began to tell her everything. She explained that she didn't love Dante at all. She had been bothering Orella for the past few days to help Dante understand everything. "What about the incident at the gazebo that night?" Orella asked Leticia. Orella still couldn't believe what the woman beside her was saying. She glanced to the side because Leticia didn't an
"Tell me what you have to say!" said Orella to Diana, sitting across from her. "It's about the mission Silvia is on," Diana replied. Orella nodded as she told Diana to continue. She listened intently to everything the woman in front of her said. "That's all I got. Now it's up to you," Diana said after explaining everything. Orella did not respond to Diana's words. She considered telling Silvia about her father's condition or keeping everything a secret until the mission was over. "I'll wait for your orders. Maybe as long as you're here, I'll stay here too," Diana said as she got up and left Orella and Dante. Orella watched Diana leave. After that, she looked at Dante, who was beside her. "Was Hugo attacking Mr. Vedetta?" Orella asked her husband beside her. "Yes," Dante replied briefly, returning to saying a few things to his wife. Orella just watched and listened to every word from her husband's lips. She clenched her fists in anger at everything Hugo had done to the people
The room's atmosphere was chaotic. Suddenly, Orella was reminded of the attack that night that had cost her Juan. Orella screamed as she called out to Dante. She also covered her eyes and ears because she didn't want to hear everything happening before her. "Honey," someone called and made Orella open her eyes. She immediately hugged the person, who was none other than Dante. She cried in her husband's arms. She continued to cry even though she tried to stop it, but Orella couldn't even stop, even though she had heard Dante's voice. "Calm down, I'm okay. Look at me!" Dante said back to Orella while releasing his embrace. Orella looked at Dante's face. Dante picked her up and carried her out of the room. She just looked at Dante's face and finally stopped crying. "You lied to me. Why?" Orella asked her husband, who was still carrying her. Dante didn't answer Orella's question. He walked into a room. It was his room in his base in the middle of the forest. "Have you calmed down?
"Tell me! What happened?" Orella asked her father again, who was still holding her hand and leading her out of the house. Orella was becoming increasingly curious about her father, who didn't answer any of her questions. Finally, she got into her father's car. The car left the house. During the trip, her father remained silent. Her father's silence made Orella even more curious about what had made her father like that. "Increase the speed of the car!" her father, who was also his confidant, ordered the driver. "Dad, can you explain it to me!" Orella said back to her father as she looked at him sitting beside her. "You'll find out later," the father replied without looking at his daughter. Orella finally shut up and didn't ask her father any more questions. She looked at the street she was walking on. However, she didn't remember the road she was on this time with her father. Finally, the car stopped right in a tranquil area. In front of her was a forest. She wondered if she and
