**Laura's POV**

I got frightened at the sight before me.

I didn't know Sonia could go this far by doing this in open.

"What do you think you're doing? Don't tell me you're the mastermind of this?" I muttered in shock.

" Common on, I can be that stupid, no matter how I really want to deal with you, I can't go to this length." Sonia replied with a sly smirk displayed on her face.

I don't trust her, not even in this situation. She just made it clear that she wants to deal with me... I can't even let my guards down. I was naive before but she'll suffer. She must suffer.

I looked at Maxwell who was still resting in my arms and wondered what I was going to do with him.

"Why is there a sword in your hand?" I asked curiously, obviously not minding the innocent look on her face.

I noticed that Maxwell was beginning to get himself which got me a little bit excited. I looked backwards only to realize that the rouges were still fighting to come in.

Maxwell is the son of the beta, he's father is old so obviously, he's the next beta in line.

"What's going on? It's so noisy here." Maxwell said clearly showing that he has gotten himself a little bit.

And i know for sure everyone is afraid of him and his judgement. That reminds me, I haven't spotted Alex and Xavier.

"We were attacked by rouges Maxwell...." Sonia said quickly interrupting whatever I had to say.

"What do you mean? Where is Laura?" Maxwell asked fully conscious of himself now.

" I'm right here." I answered and he immediately turned towards me, giving me a warm hug and a peck on my forehead. Sonia tried as much as she can to hide her anger but it was clear that she truly was offended and can't hold it in for long.

" Get yourself to safety while I help the gamma's in throwing off these punks." Maxwell said walking out in large strides.

I held a smile on my face but quickly remembered that I have a demon standing behind me with a sword.

Goosebumps washed all over my body and I had to remind myself that Sonia was a very dangerous person who doesn't think about the consequences of situations before she does what ever she wants to.

She's a bimbo!

Forgive my manners but that it!

But I'm more dangerous and i really do not want to show that part now. I have something I want to get and i need to say low in order for me to claim it. But my body itches to end Sonia and all the rebels... My body burns to kill them all.

I wish the blood I crave for would be passed in on them.

"I could end your life if I want to, you know that right?" Niandra said from the shadows as she walked up to us. Though, she was referring to Sonia.

Can someone tell me what's up with these women?

" Do I look like I care? You're a lesser trouble for me just know that, whatever you do I'm always a step ahead. " Sonia retorted with determination and walked out while she gritted her teeth in annoyance.

"Alpha Laura." A familiar voice greeted and i immediately recognized the voice as that of Mirable.

" How are you doing?' I questioned stopping my self from moving any further as I smiled.

" I'm okay.... Where are you heading to? The pack house is still in chaos but luckily for us, the beta's son has helped a little." Mirable muttered with concern.

"If that's the case then I think going to my room would be the best cause I feel it's safer." I replied with that we both headed down to my room.

On getting to my room, we both stared at each with confusion, my door was opened and both I and Mirable wondered who it could be. I increased my pace.

I stood at the door dumbfounded as I wondered what has suddenly gone wrong with Xavier. Why was he in my room? In the Alpha's chambers?

"What are you doing in my room? And why did you scatter the whole place?" I asked obviously angry.

"What does it look like I'm doing? Huh?" Xavier replied sneering at me while he continued searching vigorously for what I don't know.

"You've lost your sense of reasoning. This is the Alpha's chambers fool!" I yelled

"I'm obviously searching for the spell or whatever you used to get to that Alpha throne. Can't you see it doesn't belong to you? You don't belong here! You don't fit in here so leave! " Xavier added and i couldn't helo but wonder where the direct challenge was coming from.

"Xavier, get the hell out of my room or–" I didn't even get the chance to finished what I was about saying because I got interrupted.

"Execute me? Hand me over to the beast of the east?" Xavier commented.

" Yes, that's exactly what I would do. " I replied as a matter of fact.

" It's very obvious —"

" Whats very obvious and why are you here? " The voice of an elder scolded.

" The pack house is in chaos and instead of fighting along side Maxwell, you're arguing with your Alpha. Do you know you can be accused of sexual assault? " I turned around to find Elder Lucina and Axels.

My allies.

A smile crept up my face, I could see a scowl on Xavier's face as the elders kept glaring at him.

They only left when he did.

"Mirable, I want to be left alone." I announced and she too left the room.

I've been troubled lately and I know something is yet to be revealed to me.

I'll find out in due time though... I don't have to bother alot.
