Brielle’s POV
My fingers were going numb. I wondered if it was because of the tight chains or because they had been suspended in the air for quite some time. I tried holding on to my sanity as I watched my husband ram his dick into his slut’s mouth. Her mouth was filled up with his genitalia. I could see the tears dropping down her eyes, as she was being choked by it. “Suck on it, you maniac!” Alpha Chase commanded as he kept thrusting into her throat. The other sluts giggled as they watched the scene. “You see, Brielle! That is how you pleasure an alpha!” He said to me, as he groaned with pleasure. I couldn't help but let the tears that had welled up in my eyes stream out. I watched a man that I had abandoned everything for, make a mess with my best friend. I closed my eyes to reduce the pain, but the moans made it far much worse. “Open those eyes!”He commanded, holding back my chin. I instantly regretted opening them, as the image I saw made my heart shatter into a million pieces. He had all three of them on our matrimonial bed. “Why are… you… doing this?” I stuttered as I soaked myself with tears. “Why, you ask?” He responded with a chuckle, still slamming into Mabel, one of my best friends. She made a slutty face, as he drove into her from behind. “You don't deserve a werewolf like me. You wretched excuse for a wife .” He snarled. Well I couldn't blame him, it was my father who brought this mayhem upon me. Flashback I had just returned from another pack land where I studied Econs. I just had my degree and was determined to show my people what an evolved werewolf I had become. “Dad!” I yelled as soon as I opened the door. I noticed the sad expression on his face when I walked in but I was so excited that I had to hug him first. “Welcome sunflower, ” He muttered, chuckling loudly with his hands wrapped around me. “Dad, you won't believe what happened!” I exclaimed and was about to show him the piece of paper I held in my hands. I didn't perceive Ken as my mate but we were in love. So, we both agreed to take a step further and not let our idealogy stop us from having the life we wanted. “Hello,” Alpha Chase emerged from our living room. “Alpha Chase!”I exclaimed with a bow. I was a bit shocked because I wasn't aware that the Alpha knew us, talking more about visiting us. “Brielle, you are as beautiful as they say.”Alpha Chase complimented with a smile. My head melted with joy as I felt an urge of satisfaction. “Brielle, my love,” My father started with a sad countenance. “Alpha Chase is here to retrieve his claim.” He stated, looking away from me. “Dad? What do you mean claim?”I asked with a breaking voice. I have heard stories of girls arranging for their alpha as a way to bring honor to their families, but I never thought I would be one of those. “We are in a lot of debt sweetheart. Your college tuition, your mother's funeral,” He explained, still too ashamed to look me in the eyes. Alpha Chase stood with a blank expression by the side of the room. “Dad! How could you do this without my consent !” I exclaimed, falling in tears. “Mum won't have done this!” I yelled at him but he kept looking away from me. “You sold me out?” I muttered as it all felt like a big dream for me. I didn't know what to tell to Ken, or what path my life was going to take but I knew I had no control over it anymore. “Shall we go?” Alpha Chase asked as he walked out of our house. “Just one minute with her please.” My father pleaded in tears. “You are going to be a Luna, Brielle. Be strong, your mother would be very much proud of you.” My father muttered. I hugged him tight and whispered, “Dad, please don't let him take me away.”. I cried, still holding on to my father. “I don't have all day!” Alpha Chase yelled as he stepped into his car. My heart broke into a billion pieces as I let go of my father and followed a man I barely knew. “Where to, Alpha Chase?” The driver asked as he took glances at me from the rearview mirror. “To the Packhouse, I need to tell the Council of my new Luna. And she needs to get acquainted with her new home.” He responded, smiling widely at me. I texted Ken immediately and told him about everything that was going on . We dropped at the pack house and Alpha Chase instructed a lady to show me around the mansion and to his quarters. “Am I going by myself?”I asked him as he was about to walk away. “I have a meeting that I can't miss sweetheart. Don't worry, you would get enough of me.” He smirked as he walked away. “This way ma'am,” The lady voiced as she took me by my hand upstairs to Alpha Chase’s quarters. “So this is the Alpha’s bedroom. I would show you around by evening,” She voiced. I held on to my phone waiting desperately for Ken’s response. But, instead, I got a call. “Hey, baby!” I exclaimed, as soon as I picked up. “What’s going on Brielle? What happened?” Ken asked in a shaky tone. He sounded like he was having a panic attack. “Where are you?”He added “My Alpha's bedroom,” I responded in tears. “My dad handed me over to Alpha Chase for marriage, ” “Ken, I don't want to be with him. I don't want to be a Luna.” I added in tears. “Wait, no one is taking you away from me. You are mine as I am yours.” Ken reassured me. “What are we going to do?” I asked. I cleaned up my tears because I already felt a lot better from talking to him. “We are going away. Somewhere far where no one could ever find us .” He responded. “ Away? To where? We would be omegas if we fled! The bitches of any pack we end up in.” I exclaimed. I knew how it felt to be an omega because my mother was one. She was always treated like an outsider even until death and I wasn't ready to suffer such a fate. “Been with you is all I have dreamt of for years. And I'm not ready to let go yet.” He remarked. “Meet me at the fountain outside your Pack City by 10 pm. I will be waiting for you.” He added. I was mute because I wasn't sure I was ready to abandon my home, my friends, and my father. “Love you!” He stated as he ended the call. I fell on Alpha Chase's huge bed as I thought about it. “Was I ready to take that risk?” I asked myself as I stared at his ceiling. “Amazing structure, uh?” Alpha Chase asked as he watched me from his bedroom’s threshold. “The ceilings I mean,” He added as he noticed my confused reaction. “Come with me,” He demanded. I followed him out of the Packhouse to the graveyard where dead alphas were buried. What I saw made my eyes glitter with joy. “She deserves to be here,” He commented as I broke into tears. “I had some men move her corpse here this morning. She deserves to be among the alphas, for she gave birth to an exquisite soul.” He added. The tombstone read “Here lies Sara Clinton, a wife, and a mother ”. Seeing my mother's grave made all the good memories of her flood my thoughts. I couldn't hold back my excitement as I turned around and hugged Chase. I couldn't wrap my hands around him completely because of his muscular physique. “It's getting late, you must be tired from your trip. Let's go back up.” He said. I walked behind him as the thought of marrying him began giving me pleasant thrills. I went upstairs to find my luggage already waiting for me in his room. So, I decided to take my bath and flee when he had slept. I could feel the cold water flow down my strained body calming all my nerves as it went down my naked body. I came into the bedroom to see him stark naked on the bed. I felt chills go through my body and began salivating as I stared at his muscular nude. I belonged to someone but it was really difficult to ignore how amazing he looked. His physique, blank expression, cold smile, and thick voice were a total turn-on. I lay next to him, hoping he wouldn't make any move because I knew I wouldn't be able to turn him away. “Are you ready?” He asked, lying with his side and poking me with his hot stuff. “Ready for what?” I asked, puzzled about what he meant. “To be mine,” He grunted angrily.Brielle’s POV“Are you a novice?” He asked, chuckling softly. “Wait, are you a virgin?” He asked, with a shocked expression. “No, I have just done it once,” I responded, trying not to look at his face and the thing tugging against me. “Once? Just once? Was he that bad?” He asked, laughing softly. “It did hurt, but wasn't bad,” I responded, trying to defend Ken’s honor. “Was it the ex-fiance?” He asked. The boldness he had adding ex to it wowed me. “His name is Ken,” I corrected him. “Well I'm not Ken,” He stated, placing his hands around my waist. I couldn't fight him because that would make my situation much worse. Before I could breathe another word, his lips locked with mine. He sucked on my lips passionately, sending cold shivers through me. The tingling sensation was killing me as I kissed him back. I felt his hands go into my robe reaching for my breasts. “Damn, they are huge.” He commented as he placed his mouth on them. The compliment made my body even more excited
Brielle’s POV I felt like letting go as the water pushed me towards a waterfall. I don't know how long I had been floating because I had passed out a couple of times as I bumped my head against the sharp rocks. “My Briellezon, ” I heard my mother's voice call out to me as I drew closer to what appeared to be my doom. Soon, I couldn't just hear but also see the massive waterfall in front of me and there was no way I was getting out of it alive. I looked to my left to see a tree branch that reached into the water. I fought desperately to reach it because my life depended on it. I fought against the water's roaring currents, desperately stretching out my hand for the lifesaver. I reached out to it, grabbed hold, and used it to get to dry land. I lay down on the grass for hours panting and trying to ignore the unimaginable pain that was burrowing through my flesh. I had no idea where I was, but I knew something that made my heart leap with excitement. It was far from Chase and his
Brielle’s POV “You ran from the Crescent pack and dared to come to Eclipse. Some nerve you have,” Zane blurted angrily. “I didn't mean to come here, the tides brought me here,” I responded crying my eyes out because I felt like I had walked into my death, and judging by the stories, it was going to be a death far worse than Chase. Lucien turned around to place new wood in the burning fire. That was when I confirmed that he was indeed the alpha when I saw the alpha tattoo on his back. “You fell from the edge of the cliff at Crescent?” Lucien asked with his gaze fixated on the burning wood. “Not fall, I jumped off it. It was either that or face torture from Chase.” I responded. “There is no way anyone can survive that fall. It's impossible,” Zane protested. “You are lying!”He added in a loud voice, sounding furious. “I'm not lying.” I cried out even louder as my panic level increased. “Did you know that your Alpha Chase once had a bride? My sister Laurel was in love with Chase
.Brielle’s POV Terrified by the big reveal, I cowered on the ground like a child. “Stand up! What sorcery did you use on me?” Alpha Lucien asked angrily. “What? I didn't do anything.” I cried as fear began messing with my mind. The clueless alpha looked confused as he began muttering to himself. “Lucien! Is this real? Are you sure it's real?” Zane asked also in disbelief by what had just occurred. “Would I lie about such a thing? I felt it, I smelled it, sensed it!”Lucien exclaimed. “That means, she is your second mate,” Zane pointed out with his jaw dropped. “How is that even possible?” I looked at both brothers cluelessly as I tried to make sense of what was going on. “We can't take her back to Chase, Lucien.” Zane voiced after being mute for a while. “Chase would kill her and you know that for sure.” He added as he walked up to his brother who had his hands on his cheek. “ If we don't take her back and Chase finds out, it's going to be an all-out war.” He pointed out as
Brielle’s POVThe kiss seemed to ignite a special kind of fire in my body. I closed my eyes fearing it was one of those really realistic dreams people had and that I would soon wake up from it. But I was soon snapped back to reality when I felt myself being lowered down. It’s real! It’s fucking real!I felt his hands tug at my panties from under my dress but my thoughts were too fuzzy to think about caring. My eyes tore open in shock when I noticed his large hand wrap around my neck;“Where are you guys?” Zane called out. Snapping both of us out of the moment. “How… what… how?” Lucien stuttered. He seemed confused by what had just happened. I was lost too because I didn't understand anything that was going on. “Zane, one moment!” Lucien ran towards his brother's voice while he dressed. I sat on the floor half-naked, lost in thought about what just went down. “I'm I this damaged?” I asked myself. At that moment, I had no control over my impulses or my emotions. I just fell into his
Brielle’s POVShe matched my glare looking unfazed, Zane stepped in front of me quickly keeping us apart."Angelina watch your tone" Zane spoke up defending me."I was just asking a question, she looks... terrible" she insulted unbothered."You will speak to Brielle with respect. She's Lucien's mate." Zane urged i could see his muscles tense behind me and it took a lot for him not to speak rudely."That's impossible!" the woman shrieked, her eyes widening as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "The Moon Goddess only grants one mate to a person! There's no way!"I kept my face as calm as I could wondering what her relationship with Lucien was?It hurt to believe my second chance mate already had a new woman, I snapped out of my delusion reminding myself I didn't belong here in the first place. The lady whose name I didn't even know, was throwing a full-blown tantrum now. Her cheeks flushed red, and her hands clenched into fists. I watched her in silent amusement, a small part
Lucien's POV. The day had been long and exhausting, but it wasn't over yet. My body ached from the recent things I had going on, and with everything stressing me out, all I wanted was a moment of peace. Instead, I found myself dealing with more drama. I looked at the papers for the budget for the rest of the year and noted how many meetings I had to be present for. Things were difficult here. I paced the floor of my study, trying to calm my racing thoughts. I couldn't stop thinking about Brielle. I was angry, yes, but in a way, I could understand. I hadn’t been present enough, and it must have been sort of strange for them. That was a lie. I was too selfish to do that, to understand where she was coming from, but how could I say that? It was a cruel twist of fate for me, and I didn't know how to handle it. A leader who couldn’t lead his thoughts. Zane walked in, looking hesitant as he saw the look on my face. I must have looked irritated. “Lucien, we need to talk about someth
Third Person's POV Brielle sat alone in her quarters, staring blankly at the flickering flames in the fireplace. Her thoughts were nothing but confusion and heartache. Lucien's harsh words echoed in her mind, and his rejection was not something she had enjoyed. She couldn't understand how things had spiraled out of control so quickly. One moment, she was trying to find her place in the pack, and the next, she was caught between two men who meant a lot of things to her. Her feelings for Lucien were complex. As her mate, there was an undeniable bond between them, one that should have brought them closer. But Lucien's distance and cold exterior made it impossible for her to feel secure or loved. On the other hand, Zane had been a pillar of support. His kindness and understanding had created a deep friendship between them, and recently, those feelings had begun to shift into something more. She was torn between the bond she was supposed to honor and the growing affection she had for Zan
Brielle’s POVI stood by the window, my heart heavy with sorrow. The height below blurred through my tears as I looked down, eager to jump but afraid. Everything I had known, everything I had hoped for, was gone. My home, my father, even the child I had dreamed of was dead. There was nothing left for me, I felt. Seeing Lucien burst into the room shocked me, but it was the anger in his eyes that truly surprised me.I stood there frozen, my heart beating fast and my thoughts racing. I saw his furious stare pierce through me.I was so lost in my sorrow that when his voice cut through the silence, I was shocked and almost tripped. “Brielle, what are you doing? Get down from there!” he yelled, his voice echoing in the room.I didn’t respond. What could I say to him? He wouldn’t even understand. There was no way he would possibly understand the depth of my loss and my pain. If he even cared. I turned back and stared out the window, feeling the air on my face. Lucien’s presence behind me
Lucien’s POVSeeing the dead body lying there, my mind raced. I pulled out my phone I hard pocketed earlier and dialed for an ambulance. When the paramedics arrived, they quickly loaded the body onto a stretcher. I decided to follow them to the hospital, needing to get some answers. At the hospital, I waited anxiously while the doctors examined the body. Eventually, they came out to speak to the person who had found the body.I was met by one of the doctors, who immediately recognized me. “Are you the one who found the body, Alpha?” he asked.“Yes, yes. I found it just laying there in the middle of the road. Do you know who he is, Doctor?” I asked, trying to piece together the mystery as I stood to meet him.The doctor nodded gravely. ”He’s a member of the royal families. Came into town three weeks back and had been missing since.” He explained. His words sank in sadly. A royal family member dead and abandoned on the street? This was really bad especially how we were beginning to do b
Lucien’s POVI woke up to the sound of Zane’s heavy footsteps walking into my room. As I opened my eyes, his angry presence stood over me on the bed.Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I looked up to see his face formed with rage.“What the hell did you do?” he spat, his voice trembling with anger he could clearly barely contain.I frowned, genuinely confused. “What are you talking about?” I questioned, trying to sit up. “Alpha Rio is in the hospital. And I know you had something to do with it.”I sat up, guiltily feeling the accusation hit me like a punch to the stomach. “I didn’t do anything to Rio,” I denied, trying to keep my voice calm.“Don’t lie to me!” Zane shouted painfully. I stared at him, remaining silent, my blank expression only seeming to anger him more though.“Did you do it?” he demanded once again. “Do what?” I replied, knowing exactly what he was referring to, but I wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction of a straight answer.“Don’t play dumb, Lucien. I know you
Lucien’s POVWe sat in the wardroom waiting for the doctor’s report and the doctor. I had never felt suspense like I did on that day. My heart ponded in my chest as I stared at Zane who paced back and forth the room in frustration.“Where is the damn doctor?!” he growled angrily.“I am here,” the doctor announced as he pushed open the door with a file in his arm. And behind him was two other doctors who looked like they had just seen a ghost. I know from experience that when doctors form a pack to deliver a news to someone, especially my family, it was never something pleasant.“Prince Zane, Lady Brielle…”“Let me cut you off there Doctor,” Brielle said with groans of pain as she sat up to look at them in the eyes. “I already know about your judicial crap, so deliver the bad news,”I sighed heavily and relaxed my back on the chair to listen to what he had to say.“Your scans and test result came in, and there was no forced entry in the vagina that we can use for a rape case, although
Brielle’s POV“Do you know what a pink wolfsbane do to our kind?” he asked as he concocted a pink elixir in a bottle.I passed out after he choked the air out of me and I woke up in a bedroom with my hands tied to the bed.“Rio? What are you doing?” I looked around in fright because I already had an idea of what he was about to do.“You know, growing up I was seen as a menace. A mess that affects everything in his path but that’s not it,” the way he spoke and walked around like a psychopath had my heartbeat hard against my chest. He leaned over, sniffing my face with drools dripping out from his mouth, “I am not a psycho, just misunderstood. No one ever tries to understand me,”“Rio, whatever you think you are doing is wrong. Okay? Its all wrong and you know it,”“Wrong, right, good, bad, black, white. Those are all human’s way of thinking and we are not humans, we are creatures that surpasses the imagination.” He said as he looked me in the eyes. With a deep sigh, he pried open my mo
Brielle’s POV. I went to sit in my room, super annoyed. Why Rio had just tried to do that didn’t stick out to me, and I was annoyed. He had been acting so well lately, but it was when I had finally told him that he was a good person that he decided to act out? What was it with men? I shook my head, proud of myself for pushing him away, and I started putting together the money I had. I’d leave the clothes here. I came here with nothing but my clothes, and I’d leave that way. It wasn’t like anything I was being offered here, I wouldn’t be able get it by asking Zane or Lucien to do it for me. All the ease of mind that this place had offered me suddenly went up, and I was ready to burst into tears at this moment. I should have known that something was up when he was throwing this party for me. You don’t throw parties for just anybody. I wasn’t interested in him, so I would never encourage him to like me like that. There was a soft knock on my door, and I knew who it was. “Don’t com
Brielle’s POV. A little over a week had passed since I had got here, and I was starting to feel comfortable, too comfortable. Staying here no longer felt like a vacation, but I felt like I was actually at home, which wasn’t something nice if one thought about it deeply, but that’s not the point here. I came out to see pretty lights, tents and decorations going up, and I was pleasantly surprised, because who doesn’t love a nice party? Especially when you could smell nice things cooking, and you think of the enjoyment in store for you if you attended. I wasn’t informed of any parties, and since I wasn’t a native here, I was as confused as a newborn mouse. I heard Rio shouting something to someone, and waited for him to finish with what he was doing. Soon, he walked up to me. “You’re finally up. I thought we’d have to send in a doctor.” He pulled me into a one armed hug from the side. “Yeah.” I friend as we pulled away, touching my belly. “I was really tired.” “You need as mu
Brielle’s POV. “No, no. It’s fine. I just want to be up for a while, actually.” I said, chuckling, and Rio shook his head. “Why? Aren’t you tired? Or do you need something?” Before I could answer, he continued. “Maybe I’ve been a bad host, but I’d like for you to tell me whatever it is that you might need, and it will be provided.” Well, that was odd. If I didn’t know better, I’d say that he saw me as the alpha of a powerful kingdom, and was trying to suck up to me. “No! You, everything you’ve done has been wonderful, believe me. I just like to stay up late sometimes.” He nodded. “So do I. Actually I stay up most nights, because sleep doesn’t come easy to me, so…” “I think I get it.” I said, walking in front of him, and the guards followed us closely. He lingered at the door of my assigned room before I chuckled slightly. “You can come in, we were having a conversation before I started coming here anyway.” I sighed as I settled down onto the bed, looking up. Who
Chapter Twenty.Brielle’s POV. I walked through the pack’s territory with a guard trailing a few steps behind me. For my security, Rio had told me, and I was actually grateful for that. After that terrifying attack, I didn’t want to be out on my own in a space I didn’t know, so I was hoping that the guard would help me. The space was big and beautiful, with tall trees swaying gently in the breeze and flowers in full bloom, and their pretty colours was a feast for the eyes. The pack members moved about with purpose, and some even waved at me, and I wondered just how nice these people could be with how good they were treating me when they didn’t even know me or anything. I wondered when I’d be cleared to go home too. What would Lucien and Zane think of my disappearance? Would they be worried? Angry? A pang of guilt hit me as I realised that I had thought about Lucien before Zane, but I quickly pushed it aside. I needed to focus on healing, both physically and emotionally and being
