Chapter Thirty-Six

It was past 4 pm. Henry Richard was signing a document when his phone vibrated. He ignored the notification and signed the four other documents on his table. When he grabbed his phone and swiped the screen, his jaw dropped after seeing the message.

"That was quite soon," he mumbled as feelings of joy began to course through his veins. He was surprised too.

When he told Eve to take her time to ponder about the job offer earlier, he wasn't expecting a quick response from her and right now, he was shocked that it took her less than twenty-four hours to respond. The response was quick and positive.

Henry immediately messaged Dane to join him in his office and in a flash, Dane was standing before him.

"You texted me to come right away, boss!" Dane said panting heavily.

"She took the offer." He told Dane who just walked into the office.

"Eve Bloom took the job?" Dane asked and grabbed a seat.

"I told you, Dane. Thirty thousand dollars is not something you can come by every day." Henry boas
