Chapter Forty-four

Eve left Olivia's apartment at noon. She returned home feeling different. She was feeling relaxed and confident. It was as if a wave of reinvigoration had enveloped her. She went ahead and told the women in the hate group about the contract she had just signed with Henry. However, she didn't let them know about the changes Henry effected.

The next morning, Eve woke up and after a few workouts in her bedroom, she headed to the bathroom. Henry had already informed her that office hours were from 8 am to 4 pm but being the boss, he shows up at 9 am hence she should be at work before 9 am.

After taking a shower, Eve stood in front of her wardrobe with a towel tied across her chest, her legs apart with two fingers on her jaw. She was finding it difficult to pick an outfit. She had concluded that she will go shopping once she returns from work that evening since she still had some money in her savings account.
