Chapter Forty-three

Immediately Olivia saw a cab pull in front of her apartment, she ran toward it. Eve alighted from the cab and Olivia pulled her into a hug.

"Come in" Olivia encouraged, leading Eve into her home.

"Have you been crying?" Olivia pointed out with her eyes fixed on Eve's face after they got in.
