Jill’s POV

Everyone knew we were been watched, Chad’s plan to stick to me like glue sounded like it would work. If only we knew my father would have someone bloody shoot me. I noticed James looking around when we got out of the car and started to walk towards the house. I also noticed when he spotted someone up a tree. I followed his gaze and saw the man, I then saw the arrow just before he pierced my leg causing me to collapse and break the physical contact I had with both Chad and Megan. I looked up at Chad and as soon as I saw his face I knew I had lost. His eyes were glazed over, and he looked confused. I called out to him, and it was like he did not even hear me. I saw him turn around and look at the gate. I followed his gaze and saw the witch. She had the nerve to wink at me, I tried to get Chads attention. I grabbed for his leg, but he suddenly moved away out of my reach. He climbed into the car and started to drive off. He stopped just outside the gate and the witch climbed in
