One Hundred and Eighty One

Brian’s POV

After I gave Jill the card we all climbed into my car and headed off to go and look at the houses Jill had found. We had just arrived when Chad mind-linked me. I was shocked as James told me he was unable to.

‘Dad’ I could only just work out his words. It was like he was surrounded by water.

‘Chad son you sound faint. If you can hear me get away from that woman. Get to the pack you will be safe there. Once you are there I will get Jill to you, she is safe and with me at the moment’ Suddenly the link went dead, and I knew that he would not be leaving. She had caught him and would now use more power to make sure that he was under control. Glanced over at Jill who was looking at me.

“Did he mind-link you?”

“He did but she must have caught him as the link ended suddenly”

“She will make sure to increase her power and keep him close then” I could tell that she was trying to be strong, but I could see the tears forming in her eyes.

“All we need to worry about at the moment is ma
