Two Hundred and Eighty Nine

Chad’s POV

After Zane and the Alpha’s where taken away I noticed that one of the guards walked over and started talking to Brad and Pete. Usually, I would not think anything off it, but while they were talking they all kept looking over a Jill. I had a feeling that something was about to go down and that Jill would end up been in the middle of it without her knowledge. Jill noticed where I was looking “Are you ok?”

“I have a bad feeling that they are planning something”

She looked closely at where the guard was talking to Brad and Pete, suddenly her ears shifted into her wolf ears. I was in shock, how the hell was she able to suddenly do this stuff? Her ears turned towards them as she focused on them, and I knew she was listening in to their conversation. Now that was a skill that would come in very handy. I waited patiently till she shifted her ears back to normal. “Your right, come with me. I want to talk somewhere private”
