Jill’s POV

I noticed that Chad seemed distracted, I looked and noticed him watching Brad who was talking to Pete and a guard. I am sure that was the same guard who had taken Zane back to his room. When I asked him what was wrong her told me that he had a bad feeling that they were up to something. Since I had seen them talking to the guard I was on the same page. I quickly shifted my ears so that I could listen in to what they were saying. Thankfully Chad did not try to talk to me about the fact I could shift just my ears, so I was able to focus on what was been said.

Pete ‘They only want to give them 30 years’

Brad ‘did you let him take the key?’

Guards ‘Yes the idiot thought I didn’t notice, does he think we are not trained well’ he laughed

Pete 'Are you sure that he will go after Jill?’

Brad ‘He will definitely go after her’

Pete ‘And she will be able to kill him? I don’t like the idea of him getting away’

Brad ‘You saw her at breakfast, she is pissed at him, and she wants him dead
