CHAPTER 6: SHOULDN'T BE ALONE

Oliver's POV

"Daphne! Wait up!" I called out. "Hey, Olly," she replied. "Jamela and I were wondering if you would accompany us tomorrow. You shouldn't be alone mourning OUR father," I offered. "It is okay. Thank you for your offer," she sadly replied trying to leave. "Please," I begged extending my hand. "Like it or not, you're family," I smiled.

Daphne rushed into my arms with gratefulness. I think we were all stuck within our own grief to realize that Daphne was in extreme pain too. I felt it. After Daphne agreed to meet my mate, Jamela and me for the send off, I refocused on training because the challenge between Vincent and my father would be happening soon.

With sweat dripping from my forehead into the ground, I was tired from sparring with Marlo.
