CHAPTER 36: JUST LIKE ME

Antionette's POV

"Phoebe! You stop that at once!" I shouted at my daughter.

It was no use. That little she-wolf was just like me when I was younger. My youngest, the twins were unruly, but in the cutest way. My life had been quiet. Although, many suitors have tried to court me. I never felt them to be genuine. They wanted a Queen or what I used to be. Either they were widowed, ugly, or fat. In my heart I just knew that Phillip would return to me.

"My lady, we have company," my nanny, Ana said out of breath. "We never have company," I said grabbing my pitch fork from the wall. "You'll never believe who it is, my lady," she gulped.

I took one step out of the doorway and wanted to swallow my tongue.

"What are you both doing here?" I asked clinging tightly to my pitchfork. "I was granted asylum! You cannot just march to my doorstep trying to imprison me in front of my pups!" I added glaring at them.
